COMMUNITY AND
SCHOOL HEALTH
PEDIATRIC CONFERENCE
OVERVIEW AND TARGET AUDIENCE
VIDEO CONFERENCE SITES
Infants, children and youth with increasingly complex health
needs continue to transition back to their communities. This
year’s conference emphasizes these needs and the value
of family, community and the healthcare team as integral
partners in the care and well-being of children and youth.
Through lectures, case presentations and optional Breakfast
Roundtables, information presented will enhance one’s
knowledge necessary for an integrated approach to care
in community, healthcare and school settings. Posters and
exhibits will offer resources for families and health professionals
(live site).
(Please note meals and exhibitor displays are generally not
provided at the video conference locations. Feel free to bring
a snack and lunch with you. All video conference sites are
requested to meet the minimum 10-person registration by
May 14 or site is subject to cancellation.)
Parents and the entire interprofessional team of pediatric
healthcare providers and staff, community, child care and
school health providers and educators will find this conference
valuable and full of resources. RNs working as hospital /
home-based providers, community health / public health /
school / ambulatory nurses, telephone triage nurses, advanced
practice nurses, care coordinators, case managers and family
service coordinators, teachers, rehabilitation therapists,
respiratory therapists, dietitians, clinical social workers and
others working with children who have continuing healthcare
needs are encouraged to attend.
