Perfect for baby garments, 100% New Zealand Alpaca
fibre is a low irritant, non-allergenic, extremely fine fibre,
therefore ideal as clothing for infants and children.
This non allergenic, low itch, no smell fibre warms as
your body cools and cools as you warm up.
The fleece of each Alpaca is unique in colour and texture and can be blended with small quantities of Silk,
Angora or Opossum.
You can purchase yarn, balls, skeins, hand spinning
bumps, felt fabric for craft, 100% Suri and Suri Huacaya blends as well as garments directly from us.

Baby Beanie & Slippers
Skill Level: Easy.
MATERIALS:
Size 5mm Knitting needles.
2 x 50gm balls of 8 ply Alpaca yarn.
ABBREVIATIONS:
Gtst, garter stitch (knit every row); st(s), stitch(es); K,
knit; inc, increase; rep, repeat; tog, together.
BEANIE:
Cast on 80 sts Knit gts until work measures 15cm.
Next Row: K2 tog, across all sts. (40 sts).
Next Row: K2 tog across all sts (20 sts) Break yarn
and thread through stitches and pull together tightly
and secure. Sew back seam.
SLIPPERS:
Cast on 37 sts. Knit two rows gts.
Next row: Inc, 1 st in 1st st, Knit to end. Rep last row 5
times more. (43sts) Knit 6 rows.
Next Row: K1, K2 tog, knit to the end of row. Rep last
row 5 times more (37 sts).
Shape Cuff:
Put a marker at each end of last row. Cast off 6 sts
at the beg of the next 2 rows Knit 12 rows. Cast off
loosely.
FINISHING:
Fold slipper in half, matching markers.
Sew foot seam to markers.
Fold cuff over.
