Parts Counterperson Job Posting
Hoglund Bus & Truck seeks a full time, experienced Parts Counterperson to join our Monticello location.
The Counterperson is responsible for assisting our customers in purchasing needed parts over the
counter, through the shop, or on the phone while providing a high level of customer service.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
 Answering phone calls to provide price quotes and other information.
 Informing customers of companion part requirements and specials and ensuring that customers
are exposed to our full product line.
 Locating available parts when dealership is out of stock & submitting emergency orders per
customers’ requests.
 Setting up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.
 Receiving payment from retail customers or obtaining credit authorization.
 Keeping current on new products and product updates.
Qualifications:
 High school diploma or equivalent.
 Minimum of 2 years related experience.
 Strong communication and organization skills.
 Computer proficiency with Windows, MS Office suite, ADP, DMS, and ability to master new
computer systems.
 Ability to bend and reach to obtain parts inventory on a regular basis.
 Ability to sit/stand 6 - 8 hours during a shift at the customer counter.
 Must pass pre-employment drug screen and DMV check.
 International experience a plus (not required).
