When you are doing your spring cleaning, please remember Colfax Lutheran and bring your clean and gently used items here. The ladies are looking for all the regular thrift sale and estate sale items. If you are able to price your items, that would be helpful. If you need assistance getting your items to the church, please contact Mona Thorson (715.962.3038) and arrangements will be made to help you. Colfax Lutheran Church volunteer [vol-uh n-teer] 1. To perform or offer to perform a service of one's own free will. 2. To do charitable or helpful work without pay. That is how Webster’s Dictionary defines a volunteer. We at Colfax Lutheran Church define a volunteer this way: “There are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of service but the same Lord. (I Corinthians 12:4-5) We know that you have become the Hands and Feet of Jesus. We say Thank You for offering your time and talents in service to the Lord. We praise Him for giving you the gifts you possess and the heart to share these gifts. Thank you for being Jesus’ Hands and Feet among us! Our organization would not be what it is today if it weren’t for the many, many people who selflessly give to us week after week, month after month, and year after year. You are amazing people with a heart for the Lord. Our organization would not be what it is if not for you! You are all persons who give willingly from your heart for the good of the church, as unto Christ himself. Our volunteers are loyal, enthusiastic, caring, involved. Our volunteers are love in motion! Thank you for everything you do for us! Please join us for a Volunteer Appreciation Fellowship following Worship services on Sunday April 12, 2015 in Luther Hall.
