THE SHARING OF THE SACRAMENT
All Christians, regardless of church affiliation, are invited to receive the sacrament. At 9:00
am communion will be served by intinction (take a piece of bread and dip it in the cup).
Please come forward or to the back by the center aisle and return to your seat by the side
aisles. Persons who have difficulty walking forward are invited to signal a server to be served
in the pew. At 11:00 am you may partake of the elements when served in the pew. At 9:00
am, gluten-free bread and a chalice are on the table by the baptismal font. At 11:00 am,
gluten-free bread is held in the small container on the plate.
PRAYER
Easter God, you have met us in bread and wine, and surprised us with your joy.
Send us out into the world dancing with delight and with hallelujahs ringing in our
hearts, to share your justice and your praise. Amen.

AFFIRMATION OF FAITH
We trust in Jesus Christ, fully human, fully God.
Jesus proclaimed the reign of God:
preaching good news to the poor and release to the captives,
teaching by word and deed and blessing the children,
healing the sick and binding up the broken hearted,
eating with outcasts, forgiving sinners,
and calling all to repent and believe the gospel.
Unjustly condemned for blasphemy and sedition,
Jesus was crucified, suffering the depths of human pain
