NATIONAL NURSING HOME WEEK BRING ON THE FIESTA MAY 10TH -16TH MONDAY: Mocktail Monday Make a Fiesta Hat with the residents at 2:30 in Chesapeake Room Mocktails served at 1:30 and 4:30 in the Library Novelty Ice Cream Treat for Nurses! Baby Picture Contest! Bring a baby picture of yourself. They will be posted on the bulletin board by the courtyard. Everyone will guess who they think each picture is and we will announce the winner Friday at the cookout! TUESDAY: International Day Taste of the World 2:30 Chesapeake Room Bring a dish from your country for everyone to TASTE! Dress in your country’s traditional attire! WEDNESDAY: Crazy Hat Day Wear a festive and fun Fiesta hat! Fried Ice Cream at 3:00 in the Library THURSDAY: Jersey Day Wear your favorite baseball or soccer (fútbol) jersey! If you don’t have those sports, wear your favorite team’s jersey or shirt. Nacho Bar Fundraiser 12 noon Baseball Game with the residents 2:30 PM in the Chesapeake Room Churros in the Library at 3:00 PM FRIDAY: Fiesta Colors Day Wear your department’s assigned color and JEANS that are work appropriate! (NO holes, tears, low rise, etc.) Administrator & Admissions: Pink Nurses: Blue Social Work & Recreation: Orange Business office & HR: Green Medical Records, Materials & MDS: Yellow Housekeeping and Maintenance: Red Therapy: Purple Dietary: Navy COOKOUT at 12 noon (for residents) and 1:00 (for staff) in the Chesapeake room and Courtyard!
