Director, I/O Psychology Program. Leadership and administrative responsibility for all aspects of
the undergraduate I/O psychology concentration, 5 year B.A./M.S. program, and the
M.A./Ph.D. program, 2008–2010. Some responsibilities were:
 Represented the I/O program in monthly program director meetings.
 Coordinated the I/O psychology colloquium series (meets three times a quarter) and the I/O
psychology dissertation seminar (no course credit is granted to the director for serving as
the instructor for these courses).
 Governed the selection and admissions process for the I/O doctoral program (100+
applications) and 5 year B.A./M.S. program.
 Oversaw the doctoral comprehensive examination question creation, grading, and oral
defenses.
 Coordinated the I/O faculty for an annual workshop for the undergraduates focused on
careers and graduate school in I/O psychology.
 Led the I/O program through curriculum and significant funding changes.
 Obtained funding through Residential Education for graduate students ($19,800).
 Extended the program and its resources by orchestrating the addition of Dr. Louise
Fitzgerald (Professor Emeritus University of Illinois) as Friend of DePaul and
Distinguished Senior Researcher.
Local Review Board Committee. Reviewed research proposals from the psychology department
for ethical treatment of human subjects and made review recommendations to the Internal
Review Board committee, 2005–2009.
Advisory Committee for the Psychology Masters of Science Program. Made program–level
decisions for the psychology M.S. program including application review for prospective
students, 2005–2011.
