Each Alert report is CONFIDENTIAL and shall not be distributed outside the group of registered members. Submission of Presentations Presentations for accepted abstracts shall be submitted before 16th March 2015 to allow the Workshop Committee to review them and to provide feedback to the authors. The ESA Alert System The EAS is the official ESA Alert system used to ensure distribution and awareness of failures and problems experienced in ESA space projects. It is based on prompt exchange of information among all registered participants of the system. Every registered user can contribute to the creation of an ESA alert by reporting an issue to the EAS Focal Point via the Initiate Alert page. See alerts.esa.int. Authors will be contacted by the Workshop Programme Committee for the revision and final approval of the presentation. The Alert Workshop The Alert Workshop is primarily intended to share suggestions - within the space community - on improved exchange mechanisms that can be implemented in the existing alert systems in order to: - enhance its benefits to users - increase its reach in terms of partners - increase the number of shared alerts. Topics The chosen topics should reflect the main theme and the list of objectives of the workshop. However the list is not to be considered exhaustive. Authors are encouraged to submit abstracts and presentations on topics they consider relevant, even if they are not explicitly mentioned above. Submission of Abstracts Abstracts will be by invitation. However, persons willing to contribute a presentation in line with the workshop objectives, are able to do so via any member of the Workshop Programme Committee. Abstracts should contain the following information: - title of the presentation - name of the author - telephone and Company of the author - short description of the topics addressed. Presentations shall not exceed a duration of 30' (including 5' of Q&A) and shall be sent to the following e-mail: [email protected]. Proceedings The proceedings will be published before the workshop to be used as reference material by the participants.
