Thank you for your interest in transferring to our nursing program. We are always eager to assist students
who are seeking a nursing career.
Admission into the requested course will be dependent on the clinical space available to accommodate
additional students. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.4 in required nursing and support
courses. Students wishing to transfer into the first semester, NURS 1117 Foundations of Nursing, will be
considered as new applicants and must meet general admission requirements (See Advisement Material).
Those requesting placement in the second semester, NURS 1228 Adaptations of the Family, must have at
least 17 admission points. Students requesting placement in the third semester, NURS 2137 Maladaptive
States I, must have all support courses completed. No transfers will be accepted into the fourth semester,
NURS 2247 Maladaptive States II, but may be considered for NURS 2137 Maladaptive States I.
Please note that the nursing program must be completed within three years after successfully completing
the first semester, NURS 1117 Foundations of Nursing, or its equivalent. Career Ladder students must be
able to complete the nursing program within two years.
Because curricular organization and requirements vary among nursing programs, it is necessary to
carefully review previous course work and skills to prevent omission of content when transferring. In
order to determine appropriate placement at Connors, please furnish us with the following data:

After receiving this data, we will be able to make a recommendation regarding acceptance and placement
into our program.
