6 - July 2014
Autumn 2014 is all about rich, tonal
colour. Warm neutrals are key, with
rustic tweeds contrasting beautifully
against fairisle and jacquard patterning
to create a quietly modern and textured
feel.
Colour is muted, with anthracite, gunmetal
and chocolate hues all sitting perfectly
alongside ochre and camel shades.
These trends are reflected perfectly
throughout the following three design
stories:
Wilderness
Inspired by wide open, dramatic
landscapes,
Wilderness
showcases
an iconic mix of rustic plaids, checks
and fairisles. Cosy, patterned knits
feature alongside cabled sweaters and
richly decorated cardigans in a highly
atmospheric collection.
i
Craftwork
Traditional in style, Craftwork celebrates
pattern, colour and texture and showcases
intricate and eye-catching designs
ranging from pretty sweaters to an iconic
wrap.
Essentials
Key shapes are translated effortlessly
into style icons by the new Essentials
collection. Worked in pale neutral tones,
pieces range from open work tops and
longline cardigans to slouchy sleeve
sweaters.

Intarsia Christmas Bunting Design Masterclass
with Dee Hardwicke
8th & 9th November 2014
Green Lane Mill
Holmfirth
During the workshop, participants will be guided through the working of intarsia bunting
featuring Christmas motifs. Once a basic understanding of the intarsia technique has
been established, Dee will spend the weekend showing participants how to develop
an understanding of colour and use of inspiration to develop an intarsia chart of their
own design, helping them to start incorporating this design into a small project.
Participants will leave with a working knowledge of the intarsia technique and with
the inspiration, skills and confidence to create their own colour charts from things that
inspire them.
