Recruitment and Labour Hire
Contract Management Solutions specializes in the supply of professional
labour placement through either a complete payroll supply personal service
(Labour Hire), or a once-off placement fee service. Our professional
placement structure consists of a large workforce database. CMS have built
an enviable reputation for quality and service delivery.
Our focus is on meeting the needs of our clients, which is why we are a
solution-based company rather than a pure contractor.
The nature of our business is to drastically minimize the problems related to
the control and administration of labour. CMS does this by concentrating
on the backup structure offered to clients that require contract labour and
not just the labour itself.

address any operational issues that may arise with the necessary speed and

New recruits undergo an intensive recruiting program which includes:
Initial Interview:
• Application information that is completed by the applicant
• Criminal record investigation
• Discussion about previous work experience
• Qualification Verification
References:
• A minimum of two references is attained from previous employers.
Induction Lecture:
The following issues are discussed with new recruits:
• Customer relations
• Dress code
• Emergency and accident procedure
• Rate of pay and benefit structure
• Method of payment
Permanent Placement Fees, Terms Of Payment & Guarantees
•
Fifteen per cent (15%) mark-up is calculated on total annual package
excluding benefits.
•
Fee becomes due once the introduced candidate starts employment.
•
A minimum fee of Six Thousand Five Hundred Rand (R6,500.00) is
applicable. (No fee whatsoever is charged to any candidate).
•
CMS fees exclude V.A.T.
•
CMS reserves the right to charge a placement fee should a CMS
employee be recruited by a client or by a third party, where introduced
by the client.
•
Guarantees remain valid with the condition that fees are paid within 7
days from invoice and as long as employed candidate is not
terminated due to operational requirements, unfair labour practices or
breach of agreement which causes the employee to leave.
•
In case of a replacement within 60 days, 25% of the first fee will be
credited and the second re-invoiced.
•
Should an employee terminate his / her services within the first 60
days of employment, the following guarantee shall apply:

0 to 30 days – 50% refund

30 to 60 days – 25% refund
Ad-hoc labour:
Ad-hoc labour is supplied on an hourly basis. The worker is ordered from
the branch and is delivered at no cost to the client.
A timesheet is provided with the worker. The client completes the timesheet
at the end of the shift/week/fortnight and fax or e-mail it back to CMS

CMS belongs to various Industrial Bargaining Councils. CMS is responsible
for all workers’ wage administration and statutory burdens such as:

Advantages of using CMS:

The client will only pay for actual hours worked by the workers
(minimum 9 (nine) hours when ordered.)
•
The client is allowed to be highly selective on the individual workers
supplied by CMS
•
CMS provide a flexible service as the client can order and / or cancel
such order on a daily basis, due to the Clients operational
requirements.
•
If the Client is not satisfied with the performance of any of the staff
supplied by CMS, the relevant staff member will be replaced and
necessary action will be dealt with by CMS.
•
The Client can focus on more critical functions of the organisation.
•
Costs are easier to control.
•
The client is contracted out of the Labour Relations Act, and
associated legislation.
•
CMS will provide a system of employment which is flexible and hedges
you against expected / unexpected labour
•
Unrest.
•
No industrial fees.
•
No industrial council subscriptions.
•
No workman's compensation.
•
No cost of carrying employees through low turnover periods.
•
No Wages Department / Paying periods.
•
Utilize our services during peak production periods and release us
when not required.
•
Utilize our service when you require a project to be completed within a
set time frame but do not have the staffs compliment to fulfil.
•
Consider our service when you wish to tender on specific contracts
but do not have the necessary full time staff to complete the workload.
Payroll Services
In addition to the supply of temporary and contract employees, CMS also
provides a complete payroll system. This entails the complete administration
of the client's employee payroll for as little as 5% mark-up.
• Labour Hire Invoice amount includes the following Services unless
otherwise arranged:
o Initial delivery to site
o Supply PPE (Cost of PPE as per Proposal/Agreement)
o Comprehensive payroll management service
o Workman's Compensation
PLEASE NOTE:
The invoiced rate per hour per requested discipline EXCLUDES the
following, unless otherwise arranged:
• Costs of:
o Induction (Plant & Site)
o Medical (If requested)
o Additional transport to site
o Additional PPE (eg. Safety Helmet, Earplugs, Safety Spectacles, Specialized
PPE, etc.)
o Additional Gate access cards
o Accommodation
o Daily Transport
o Food
o Tools
All excluded cost services can be supplied at cost plus 15% handling fee.
