Specification:
All 'Brett Parsons' waist belts are made from the finest selected English bridle butt leather. Hand
sewn using heavy waxed thread with solid cast brass buckles and fittings supplied by the last
remaining brass founders in Walsall, West Midlands.
Each belt is individually made to order and features 'Hand burnished' edging, providing a perfectly
round, smooth, stained and polished edge to the leather. Although this is a time consuming
process, accomplished entirely by hand, it is one of the hallmarks of best quality leatherwork and
is rarely seen today. All stitching is by hand.
Waist Size – This is vital to ensure a proper fit since each belt is specifically made for each
individual customer. Please do not rely upon trouser size, but measure accurately OVER the
trouser or preferably lay flat on an existing belt and measure from the pointed end of the bucklepin to the hole you normally use. This will be your correct belt size.
When ordering, please specify colour, width, buckle design and accurate belt size, also whether
leather or brass keepers are required. Delivery is normally 2 - 3 weeks.
All belts are supplied in individual linen draw string bags, complete with a pot of leather dressing.
Buckles:
West End Buckle: A rectangular buckle with
rounded corners, available in all widths
except 2". Illustrated 1 st, 3rd & 5th from left.
London Wire Buckle: A more rounded'
horseshoe' shape, shown 2nd & 4th from left.
It is available in all widths.
Sam Browne Buckle: A military style buckle
with distinctive twin prong design, shown far
right. It is available in 11/2" and 2" widths only.
Keepers: Choose between leather or brass
keepers, but please note brass keepers
available in 3/4" 1”,1 ¼”, 1 ½”" only.
Nickel Plated Buckles: Most Buckle designs are now available in a nickel plated (on solid brass)
finish. Particularly suitable for black belts. Customers can specify nickel buckles on any belt.
