SAINT VINCENT DE PAUL
The Saint Vincent de Paul Society of Christ Our Redeemer
would like to thank you for your generosity to us in our
collection on Divine Mercy Sunday-Weekend, April 11th
and April 12th.
!
Your continued compassion for those who are in
need is a blessing to us. We could not exist without your
kindness. We have so many who are in need of
assistance for rent, utilities, auto gas for Doctors
appointments or a job interview and last but not least, food
for their families. Again, this year, we were able to provide
families with Easter Dinner.
!
Thank you for caring. We are so blessed to have
such wonderful parishioners.
!
We also want to thank the Knights of Columbus at
Christ Our Redeemer for the food drive they held for Saint
Vincent de Paul. We are so fortunate to have such
generous and caring people as you are. God Bless each and everyone.

LADIES RETREAT IN MOBILE
“Come By Yourselves To An Out-of-the-Way Place
and Rest Awhile.” (Mark 6:31)
Thursday thru Sunday: July 9th – 12th ~ Father Cecil
Spotswood, chaplain for both the Carmelite and Visitation
Monasteries in the Diocese of Mobile, Alabama will
conduct the silent retreat. The suggested offering is $150
(includes food and a private room). Contact the Visitation
Monastery at 251-473-2321 for reservations or Karen
Gallacher at 850-587-3819 for more information. O ur S unday B ulletin is a primary way we use to
communicate with you. Through our arrangement with the
J.S. Paluch Company, the parish does not pay for the bulletin
covers. This saves us thousands of dollars every year.
Our bulletin is supported through the generosity of
the advertisers – many of whom are our own parish members.
Most are members of our local community. Please support our
advertisers with your patronage. Tell the business owners that
you appreciate their support of our parish through their
advertising in our Sunday Bulletin. A strong and vibrant
parish is good for our community and a strong business
community is good for our parish.

Christianity is the spirit of Jesus Christ
at work in the world.

So thank you again. For everything. For your
donations to the wells which will bring clean water to
people who are now digging muddy water from the
bottom of swamps.
For your donations over
Christmas of rosaries, crayons, shoes, and soccer
balls, all of which have brought more joy that I can
express to my students and myself.
For your
donations last summer that helped me get here, so that
I could minister to and learn from, these beautiful
people. Thank you for all of this, but most of all thank
you for your prayers. I know that everyday you pray
for me and those I’m woeking with. That knowledge
keep me going and reminds me why I felt called to this
mission. You are in my prayers and the prayers of
many little Ugandan children !!
I will see you all very soon when I return home !!!
See you in the Eucharist! ! !
Love . . .
Molly McCormick
Dear Christ Our Redeemer Family . . .
Happy Easter Season from Uganda !!!
As I reach the end of my journey here in beautiful
Nalweyo, My thoughts are naturally drawn to how this
daunting adventure began.
The initial call, the
realization of plans, and the people who made it
possible for me to get here, which is you.
Well Status:
From Blessed Trinity Parish in Ocala, Florida
I just wanted to give you an update on your funds.
The checks you sent totaled:
$5951.00
The online donations totaled:
$1825.00
So the total received from your group is: $7776.00
This Easter in Uganda, Holy Week, the Easter
Vigil, and the season following has given me an ever
deeper understanding of the profound universality of
our Catholic faith. I am surrounded by a culture that
was once so foreign to me, but which has now become
a part of who I am. So as I am now less affected by
everything that is different about what is going on
aroud me, I am able to see just how the same our faith
has made us. I was struck while listening to the choir
sing the responses in their native Runnier that these
were the same responses being sung in Niceville,
Florida on the other side of the worls. Not only the
same responses, but the same Mass. The same Body
and Blood. We are all together in the Eucharist.
We have been asking for the donors to name their well.
Something short as they will be making a small plaque
for each one, so maybe your group can be thinking of
what you wish to name your well/wells and let me know.
If you did not have the opportunity to make a donation
after Christmas or during the the Parish Mission, you
can still go to:
www.blessedtrinity.org
go to “Donate Now”
then drop down to:
