Mission Statement
Sav-A-Life Pregnancy Center is a Christian, pro-life ministry proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ and providing
practical, emotional and spiritual assistance to women, men, and children who face pregnancy related issues, who
are threatened by abortion or who suffer harm from abortion.


Volunteer of the Month—Charle Barnes


This month we are honoring Charle Barnes as our Volunteer of the Month.
Charle found that she had spare time on her hands after retiring as a nurse
from Summerford’s Nursing Home. She decided she wanted to find a biblically based program to help fill her time in a meaningful way. Charle has
been with Sav-A-Life for two years and states, “I have been so, so blessed!”.
Charle stated that she wished everyone knew about Sav-A-Life and the services that we provide.
Charle’s favorite scripture is John 3:16...For God so loved the world, that
He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not
perish, but have everlasting life. Charle states that this is her favorite scripture because,“We all need to understand how much God loves us.” He loves us with an unfailing love!
Charle has five children and numerous Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren!
While Charle states that Sav-A-Life has been a blessing to her, we are very blessed to have Charle as
a part of our team of Volunteers!

Thank you Austinville First Baptist Church for inviting our Director, Veronna Keen, to spend the day
with your church family as you held a special day to celebrate the sanctity of life. Veronna enjoyed visiting with your church for your morning service. Bart Harper, of American Family Radio, was the guest
speaker for the morning service. After morning service, Veronna enjoyed visiting with your church
members for lunch. Thank you for inviting Veronna to be the guest speaker for your evening service,
where she had the opportunity to share about our ministry. Thank you for the love offering and for the
collection of needed items for our Center. Some of the items that have been donated include diapers,
wipes and socks. We would not have the continued opportunity to share God’s love and serve our
community without the support of our area churches, businesses, organizations and individual sponsors.
Thank you for your hospitality and generous donations to Sav-A-Life! May God continue to pour His
blessings onto your church!
Baby Shower! - Thank You Danville Baptist!
Thank you to the ladies of Danville Baptist church for hosting a Baby Shower for Sav-A-Life! Your
generosity and continued support is a true blessing to us and the mom’s that we serve! Your gifts of
diapers, wipes, clothing, socks, bibs, a diaper bag, formula, bottles, burp cloths, wash cloths and hats
were amazing! Your generosity allows us the opportunity to continue to show God’s love to our
clients. Thru donations such as yours, we are able to provide them with a gift bag full of new items for
their new babies. This helps to take a great burden off of the mothers by knowing that their precious,
little bundles of joy will have the items they need in the first weeks of their lives! Thank You!
Tunsel Road Baptist-Thank You!!
We would like to thank Tunsel Road Baptist church for joining our group of supporting churches!
Thank you for inviting us to share information about our ministry with your church family. Tunsel Road
invited our Director to come speak at their church, had a dinner and did a kick-off of their Baby Bottle
Boomerang. Their WMU group also made a donation to Sav-A-Life. Thank you for your support! We
look forward to working with you to further God’s Kingdom and continue to show His unfailing love!

Sav-A-Life is hosting a Fundraiser just for
Mommy, Little Girls and their Favorite Baby
Dolls! Saturday, July 26, 10AM-2PM at Decatur Country Club. For a donation of only $20,
moms will enjoy shopping, fashion shows, getting their nails painted and more! The little girls
will enjoy learning how to care for their baby
doll, learn that everyone is a special gift from God, decorate a cupcake, get their nails painted, make a craft, get a Mommy Certificate,
practice twirling and so much more!!! We will have jewelry, make-up
and clothing vendors plus many more! Door Prizes will also be given
away! If you are interested in being a vendor for this special day or
