GENERAL OVERVIEW: ARTS & CRAFTS VENDORS
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!
HOW TO APPLY -- Applications due by March 14th, 2014
Visit www.wakarusa.com/vending-info/. Select “Arts and Crafts Application”, and follow the instructions.
--Spaces generally sell out before due date!
--Decisions are based upon date of application, items sold, and past participation.
--We strive to provide a diversity of items sold by vendors, and do this by selectively choosing vendors that do
not sell similar items.
--Due to the volume of applicants, not all will be selected and we cannot always respond personally to all who
apply. You will be notified only if you are selected.
ACCEPTED VENDORS -- Contract, Payment, and Insurance due by March 21st, 2014
If you are accepted, you will receive an email with an attached contract to read and sign.
You’re space is not confirmed until we receive the following items together via mail:
1- Completed and signed contract
2- Proof of Insurance (covered all three companies listed in contract)
3- Payment
If we receive your items after we have sold out, your payment will be returned to you.
BOOTH INFORMATION: AREA, HOURS, COST
MIDWAY VENDORS
 Midway Vendors will be located between the Main Stage and Revival Village.
 Required hours of operation are: 11:00am – 2:30am Thursday-Saturday & 11:00-12:00am Sunday
 Vendors may operate up to 24 hours if they would like.
 Electricity Provided.
 Cost: $450.00 + $149.00 per ticket.
CAMPGROUND VENDORS
 Campground vendors will be located in the Main Venue Camping.
 There are no required hours of operation. Vendors may operate 24 hours.
 Cost: $250.00 + $149.00 per ticket
 No electricity is provided in this area.
RULES AND GUIDELINES:
1. All vendors must sell handmade craft items. No T-shirts. (Exceptions may be made for a few tie-dye and
handmade design t-shirts, but must be approved by the vendor coordinator in advance). No drug related
paraphernalia may be displayed for sale or sold. No copyrighted designs. Glass art is allowed.
2. Chinese Lanterns are illegal in the State of Arkansas. No Chinese Lanterns may be sold.
3. Vendors must follow all festival rules including but not limited to: NO pets, NO PA systems, NO open fires,
NO laser pointers, NO illegal drugs, NO weapons, NO fireworks.
4. All vendors must submit within the contract a list of items to be sold. Only approved items are allowed to be
sold. Vendors selling items not listed may be asked to leave the festival grounds with no refund.
5. All vendors must carry a one million dollar liability insurance policy, listing OK Productions Inc., Arkansas
Ozark Promotions Inc DBA Mulberry Mountain and Mulberry Holdings LLC as additionally insured. Proof of
insurance is required.
6. Booth fees and ticket payments are due in full with signed contract and proof of insurance. Should your
contract NOT be accepted, these fees will be returned. Your space is not guaranteed until ALL ITEMS
(contract/payment/insurance) have been received together.
7. Vendors are responsible for collecting and paying all State license fees and sales tax. Sales tax forms will be
provided to vendors upon arrival.
8. This event takes place rain or shine. No refunds are given to vendors for any reason.
9. Spaces will be assigned based on date by which all items (contract, payment, insurance) are received, and
only if they have been mailed in one package.
10. Wakarusa does not allow ‘roaming vendors’.
11. Vendors must purchase vendor wristbands in advance for each person working. Vendor wristbands are for
WORKERS ONLY. Tickets for vendors are not available for purchase onsite. One wristband is good for 4
days. Wristbands are not transferable.
12. ALL wristbands and vehicle passes are given to the person who picks up the vendor packet upon arrival.
This person is responsible for distributing the passes to their staff. Plan accordingly! Vendor check-in DOES
NOT hold passes.
13. Each Midway vending space will be provided one (1) 5a, 120v circuit. Additional power will be an
additional cost and is extremely limited. Please notify in advance special power requests. Submission of a
request does not guarantee approval. No electricity is provided for Campground Vendors.
14. Spaces are 10’wide x 35’deep (10x10 booth and 10x25 camping). All assets (booth and camping) must fit
within this space. This is not negotiable and will be strictly enforced. Additional depth NOT available for
purchase. Multiple spaces can be purchased.
15. Vendors will be expected to camp and park within their space. There are NO in/out privileges for vehicles.
16. If you have a large trailer, vehicle, or setup that requires pulling through a neighboring booth space to park,
you must notify the vendor coordinator. Please plan accordingly.
17. Vendor check-in date and hours are Wednesday June 4th, 10:00am – 6:00pm. You must arrive during
this time to set up your booth.
18. Wakarusa strives to reduce the environmental impact. Please use the provided recycling receptacles, and
encourage patrons to as well.
