From 7-16 August 2015, the world’s top 16 netball
nations will gather in Sydney for the 14th edition
of the Netball World Cup (formerly World Netball
Championships).
Held every four years since 1963, Netball World
Cup is the pinnacle event for international netball.

Week 1 Games
The netball World Cup is a celebration of the continued growth and impact
of netball globally, with this year’s event set to be the biggest and best the
sport has ever seen.
May 9
Week 2 Games
The Australian Diamonds will go into this year’s event as reigning
champions; however they will face fierce competition from arch rivals, The
Silver Ferns, as well as England, Jamaica and South Africa.

Net Set Go Skills

WHEN : 7-14August 2015
FORMAT : 16 teams – 10 days – 64 matches
WHERE : All games are held at Sydney Olympic Park with the majority
being played at Allphones Arena (capacity 16 300)
NATIONS : Australia, New Zealand, England, Jamaica, Malawi, South
Africa, Wales, Scotland, Fiji, Samoa, Trinidad & Tobago, Barbados,
Singapore, Sri Lanka, Uganda and Zambia

Net Set Go Skills
Net Set Go Skills Program will commence
Week 3 – May 16 - 2015
The program is designed for children aged between 5
and 7 and aims to challenge children with gross motor
activities and introduces them to throwing, catching,
jumping, running, dodging, shooting, balance and
footwork.

Court Allocations
All clubs should have by now received their allocated courts for training. Please check
with your clubs to ensure you are on the correct courts to train each week.
Crazy Hair and Sock Day - Saturday May 23rd
The Kids’ Cancer Project is an Australian charity
focused on finding cures for childhood cancer.
Your GOLD COIN donation on the day can help.
Come with crazy hair on the day (NO beads) or wear

The Penrith Representative Carnival was held on the 29th March 2015. Thankyou to all the
volunteers that made this day such a success.
The results for our Penrith teams are as follows:
A special congratulation to our 11 years Development Squad who won their division by 0.03 of
a point great effort girls.

Our Penrith teams had an amazing day at the
Paramatta/Auburn Carnival held on Sunday 19th
April.
Our 11 years Development team, 12 years State
team, 12 years train-on Team, 13 years train-on team
and our 15 years train-on all winning their respective
divisions.
Great effort girls!

March Past will be held on opening day 2nd May. Clubs are asked to assemble by 8:00am to
allow proceeding to get under way on time. Let’s make 2015 the most colourful year yet!
