STUDENT International Affairs Seminar (IAS)
TRIP Scheduled for March 28- April 4, 2016
All students who will be Juniors or Seniors
in High School during the 2015/2016 school
year are invited to participate in this trip.
This has been a mountain top experience for
anyone who has ever gone. Students will
not only be immersed into the life and culture of Washington, D.C. and New York
City, but will also form deep and lasting friendships in addition
to developing an understanding of how to consider faith-based
action with current issues, exploring them from all sides. Human Trafficking is the topic of study for this trip.
Everything you need to know, including cost,
commitment deadline, and a laundry list of great
sights and experiences are in the brochure at this
link bit.ly/IAS_StudentTrip_March2016, or pick
up a packet from the Information Booth.

Occasional Volunteers Needed
The Christian Church in Nebraska (our state region office, which
supports our pastors, assists in pastoral searches, and many other things) is occasionally in need of volunteers to help with preparing mailings. If you can fold paper, and stuff an envelope,
then, they’re looking for you!
The Region Office will call or e-mail you to see if you can help on
a specific date, when a mailing comes up.
Their office is located just south of
the Best Buy near 70th & O streets. If
you might be able to help once in a
while, please sign up at the Information Booth.
BridgeKIDS (Preschool - 5th Grade)
Kids in Kindergarten through 5th Grade begin worship with
their families and will be dismissed to head downstairs for
their classes. They are learning all about their faith while having a great time “AT THE ZOO!” Be sure to check your kids in
at the BridgeKids Check-in Desk before worship begins.

Lion’s Den.
Daniel’s faith shows that
nothing is impossible
with God and we can
trust God no matter
what.
Connecting at
CrossBridge
We’re creating a directory of skills
that people are willing to share with
the church and help us in meet the
needs of our church community (as
well as the wider community) more efficiently. Being in the directory and sharing your skills doesn’t mean you have to work for free.
To be in the directory, fill out a form at the Information Booth, or
enter your info via the website at:

Summer of Service
Summer of Service
It’s been mentioned in worship, but in case
you missed it, this summer will be a Summer of Service at
CBCC. It’s time to begin gathering ideas for this TWO month summer event—June and July. Think outside the box! Do you know a
neighbor who has home repair or yard work they either can’t afford
to do or physically can’t handle? Is there a community project that
needs a group of people to tackle it?
