God’s Mission: Setting things right, one heart at a time. Isaiah 42.1-4, the MSG Bible Our Mission: Everyday people helping people to follow Jesus Christ . . . every day. Our Values: Biblical - Unfinished - Missions - Unity - Acceptance BridgeKIDS (Preschool - 5th Grade) Kids in Kindergarten through 5th Grade begin worship with their families and will be dismissed to head downstairs for their classes. They are learning all about their faith while having a great time “AT THE ZOO!” Be sure to check your kids in at the BridgeKids Check-in Desk before worship begins. The Lessons: The Parrots - Today, May 24th Parrots don’t worry. They don’t worry about what to wear or what to eat. God provides all they need, from food and water to their gorgeous feathers. We, too, need to trust that God will provide everything we need so we can concentrate on doing God’s will. The Ostriches - May 31st Ostriches are known for hiding their heads in the sand. Too often, Christians are known for the same thing. Gideon set an example for us when he took his head out of the sand and defended Israel. We need to be bold enough to stand for what’s right, and defend the weak—in our schools, in our country, and around the world. Kangaroos - June 7th Kangaroos are famous for their pouches, where mother kangaroos care for and nurse their young until they are ready to venture out on their own. Kangaroos are great parents, and they remind us of all our parents do for us. God wants us to honor our parents because they are the people he chose to teach us about loving God and loving others.
