BridgeKIDS (Preschool - 5th Grade)
Kids in Kindergarten through 5th Grade begin worship with
their families and will be dismissed to head downstairs for
their classes. They are learning all about their faith while having a great time “AT THE ZOO!” Be sure to check your kids in
at the BridgeKids Check-in Desk before worship begins.
The Lessons:
The Parrots - Today, May 24th
Parrots don’t worry. They don’t worry about what to
wear or what to eat. God provides all they need, from
food and water to their gorgeous feathers. We, too,
need to trust that God will provide everything we need so
we can concentrate on doing God’s will.
The Ostriches - May 31st
Ostriches are known for hiding their heads in the
sand. Too often, Christians are known for the same
thing. Gideon set an example for us when he took his
head out of the sand and defended Israel. We need to
be bold enough to stand for what’s right, and defend the
weak—in our schools, in our country, and around the world.
Kangaroos - June 7th
Kangaroos are famous for their pouches, where
mother kangaroos care for and nurse their young
until they are ready to venture out on their own.
Kangaroos are
great parents,
and they remind us of all
our parents do for us.
God wants us to honor
our parents because they
are the people he chose
to teach us about loving
God and loving others.
Stay tuned for more!

TRIP Scheduled for March 28- April 4, 2016
All students who will be Juniors or Seniors
in High School during the 2015/2016 school

This has been a mountain top experience for
anyone who has ever gone. Students will
not only be immersed into the life and culture of Washington, D.C. and New York
City, but will also form deep and lasting friendships in addition
to developing an understanding of how to consider faith-based
action with current issues, exploring them from all sides. Human Trafficking is the topic of study for this trip.
Commitment deadline is Saturday, August 1st.
Everything you need to know, including cost,
and a laundry list of great sights and experiences
are in the brochure at this link

people are willing to share with the
church and help us in meet the needs
of our church community (as well as
the wider community) more efficiently.
Being in the directory and sharing your skills doesn’t mean you
have to work for free.
To be in the directory, fill out a form at the Information Booth, or

It’s been mentioned in worship, but in
case you
missed it, this
summer will be a Summer of Service at CBCC. It’s time to begin gathering ideas for this TWO month summer event—June and July. Think
outside the box! Do you know a neighbor who has home repair or
yard work they either can’t afford to do or physically can’t handle? Is
there a community project that needs a group of people to tackle it?
