documents can be obtained at the following address from 28/04/2014 to
05/05/2014 during working hours on payment of ₹. 100/- per form.

SALE OF USED CAR –TENDER CUM AUCTION DETAILS, TERMS
AND CONDITIONS
Tenders are invited from persons interested in purchase of used cars on
“as is where is basis”. Tender documents can be obtained from our office
at the above address during working hours between 10 AM and 5 PM on
payment of ₹ 100/-. Separate tender forms should be used for submitting
offer for more than one car. Tender documents downloaded from our web
site, shall be accompanied by a Demand Draft/Pay Order for ₹100/- drawn
in favour of Syndicate Bank payable at Manipal, being the tender
document fee [non-refundable]. Besides, Earnest Money Deposit of ₹
1500 per car shall be paid along with the tender document by way of
Demand Draft/Pay Order drawn in favour of Syndicate Bank payable at
Manipal. The Last date for submitting the offer is by 2 PM on 06/05/2014

The following general terms and conditions of the offer may be taken note
of before submission of bid.
OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF OFFER.
------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Tenders shall be submitted in the prescribed format separately for
each car only in a sealed cover super scribing “Tender cum auction
for purchase of car bearing Regd. No………….” addressed to : The
General Manger, Syndicate Bank, General Administration Division
GAD Manipal.
2. Tenderer can submit tender cum auction for one or more or all the
cars, but, separate tender should be submitted for each of the car
which shall be put in separate sealed cover as mentioned above.
3. Duly completed tender cum auction documents shall be submitted to
our office at the address given above on or before 06/05/2014 by 2.00
PM. Tenders will be opened on the same day at 3.00 PM on words in
the presence of intending bidders or their Representatives who may
be deputed to remain present at the time of tender opening. Only one
Authorised Representative will be allowed to witness the tender
opening and for auction upon submitting the authorisation letter issued
by the bidders. Bids received late will be rejected.
4. EMD of sum of ₹ 1500/- to be deposited along with application fee by
way of DD payable at Udupi. Inter-se bidding will be permitted
amongst the bidders only for each car.
5. The bid amount to be paid by way of cash/DD favouring Syndicate
Bank payable at Udupi. The person on being declared to be
successful bidder shall deposit 25% of sale price, less EMD deposited
immediately.
6. The balance payment shall be paid within three days from the date of
auction, failing which, the amount paid shall be forfeited.
7. The successful bidder shall take possession of the vehicle on payment
of balance amount within three days.
8. Application not drawn in the prescribed format, not accompanied by
application fee/EMD, not presented in the manner prescribed is liable
for rejection.
9. Bank reserves right to cancel the tender and/or reject any or all the
bids received without assigning any reason whatsoever at any stage.
10. It is the responsibility of the successful bidder for arranging transfer of
ownership of the vehicle purchased in the records at his cost.
11. KYC Document viz Address proof and ID proof shall be invariably be
brought in original along with photo copies.
