Peet JHS For Our Sixth Grade Families! Please mark your calendars for these important dates concerning one of the most important transitions for your child – the big “step up” to 7th grade. PLANNING A SUMMER MOVE??? If you know that you will be moving this summer out of Conroe ISD for the 2015-2016 school year, there is a form that must be filled out and returned to Cryar’s registrar, Viki Canales. Summer Mover forms may be picked up in the front office and consist of two pages which must be filled out completely, signed, and dated. You can also print the forms from the Cryar website. *May 15th: Schedule change requests will not be accepted after this date. August 14th: Peet JHS Cub Camp will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. This is a time to pick up class schedules, locker assignments, and textbooks. Physicals for sports, cheerleaders, and Dancing Dolls: If your 7th grader-to-be did not get the mandatory physical on April 29th for participation in the above activities, please note that you must take your child to your family physician to get this done. Forms, which the doctor must fill out, may be picked up in the Cryar front office until May 15th. After that date, you will need to either print the forms online or contact Peet at 936-709-3700 for the forms. You will also need to return the completed forms to Peet before school begins. 5th Grade Field Day Chaperones Needed 5th field day Attention, Students and Parents: Our Lost and Found is running over, and all items of clothing not picked up by Thursday, June 4th, will be donated to the Conroe Assistance League. Parents, if you would like to search the clothing rack for any items your child is missing, get a visitor’s badge from the front office and proceed to the cafeteria. The Lost and Found rack is past the trophy case on the left. Wednesday, May 20th Parents, if you wish to chaperone on field day, please make sure you communicate this to your child’s teacher no later than the date listed below. Parents must pick up all medicines from the clinic by Thursday, June 4th, at 4 p.m., or all medications will be destroyed. *In May and June, students will be spending time outside for recess, field days, CAT Treats, and other activities. The school clinic is not permitted to use insect repellant or sunscreen on the students.
