C1880 Xpedium One
The Xpedium series starts with the most basic version. This version is
nevertheless excellent and comprises a 27 TPI carcass with a rubber
anti-puncture layer. This tire feels perfectly at home in the city and on country
roads in particular. The Xpedium One is a top-class tire at a modest price
and frequently the tire of choice used on initial construction by almost all
major brands.
C1880 Xpedium Safe
The Xpedium Safe is made to prevent punctures occurring. This is the tire’s
primary objective. Much to the delight of many a postman and schoolchildren
cycling from one village to the next. The carcass is specially reinforced to
improve balance and maintain the position of the extra thick layer.
The Xpedium Safe gives the user a sense of security for getting home
safely without the worry of a puncture along the way.
C1880 Xpedium Ampero
In recent years, we have seen more and more e-bikes and tires are obviously
subject to greater wear and tear due to the simple fact that e-bikes go much
faster. E-bikes have to meet more requirements and the tires are subject to a
greater degree of wear and tear. Some e-bikes can even reach speeds of up to
50 km/hour, which is why the Xpedium Ampero is also tested up to this speed.
If you need a tire for your e-bike, the Xpedium Ampero is an excellent choice as
it is made specially for this type of bike. It has an ultra-strong 60 TPI carcass and
a woven anti-puncture layer that is resistant to just about all types of debris and
sharp objects it meets along the way. The Xpedium Ampero is DEKRA-approved
and meets ECE standards up to 50 km/hour.
C1880 Xpedium Pro
CST has made the best tire possible for the many cycle enthusiasts who
demand the highest of standards. The carcass is woven with 60 TPI giving
it a strength and flexibility normally only seen in mountain bike and racing
bike tires. CST has also applied a special anti-puncture system that surpasses
almost all other techniques. A woven layer and a layer of rubber are
incorporated one over the other. This type has also been approved by
DEKRA and meets ECE standards up to 50 km/hour, making the Xpedium
Pro suitable for all e-bikes and other ultra-fast bikes, highly puncture resistant,
light to handle and durable. In other words: the very best for all-round use.
C1880 Xpedium Globe
An absolute must-have for people that know what cycling is all about and
can’t get enough of it. This tire meets all the demands of the world cyclist,
the frequent cyclist and the cyclist carrying a lot of luggage. Thanks to the EPS
layer running from bead to bead, this tire is stronger than steel. With a full load,
the sidewalls tear faster and this tire is much more resistant to this. The material
is flexible and lightweight, so this tire doesn’t weigh much and still has a low
rolling resistance. The CST Xpedium Globe is so robust and superior that you
can easily cycle around the world.

C1263 Basic
Entry Level - The Basic is the entry model of the CST city tire assortment.
A tire for students or children who cycle to school. All city tires in the Classic
Line have the same compound and casing structure, but this Basic model
does not have an additional anti-puncture layer.
C1207 Tradition
Retro’ is back in fashion. Tires with treads that were in vogue years ago are
now very popular on new bikes; perhaps that is why the CST Tradition is
currently the most popular tire. The basic quality is similar to that of the CST
Breaker, and of course a good anti-puncture layer is incorporated. In light
colours and dark brown, they are very fashionable and can be seen a lot
around town. The block-form tread is perfectly suited to use on paved roads.

market for trendy urban tires in wide sizes. A new addition to the successful
Zeppelin series will make its debut in size 47-622. Thanks to a 60 TPI carcass
these tires are lighter and more flexible, making them less prone to puncture
than tires with a lower TPI.

Level 2: The carcass normally
comprises 22 to 32 TPI. With protection level 2, the carcass comprises 60 TPI. The more threads
per inch, the stronger the carcass
and more puncture resistant.
Level 3: Kevlar® Inside is a
technique consisting of a 1.5 mm
Kevlar® fibre layer, which is situated between the tire tread and the
carcass.
Level 4: Sports tires also need
protection. We optimised the thinly
woven EPS layer for racing and
ATB tires specially for this purpose.
This way the tire is extremely light
and the cyclist doesn’t notice the
difference.

Level 5 (LDP): A tire with level 5 protection
consists of a 3 mm LDP anti-puncture layer. This is
an extra thick rubber layer between the profile and
the carcass.
Level 5 (EPS): The level 5 EPS protection offers
a woven layer of poly fibre fabric between the tire
tread and the carcass.
Level 5 (EPS BtB): Level 5 with EPS offers
excellent puncture protection, however, we go a
step further; EPS from thread to thread. This also
provides additional protection for the sidewalls.

Level 6: Twofold anti-puncture, for twice as
much protection. The thinly woven EPS layer is
supported by a 1 mm rubber layer. The tire remains light and flexible because it doesn’t have
a thick rubber anti-puncture layer.
PROTECTION LEVEL
Level 7: Level 7 goes further than you ever
thought possible. We combine the anti-puncture
layers of level 5 and in doing so create the best
possible puncture protection available in the
world of tires. The thinly woven EPS layer is
applied under a 3 mm LDP layer. This in itself is
fantastic puncture protection technology. Just
think about what this can offer when combined.

The CST Sensamo Sumo is engineered to reduce flats and punctures
while also providing a smooth, comfortable ride. The grooved-slick tread
design of the CST Sensamo Sumo allows this tire to roll fast and corner
well. The CST Sensamo Sumo also offers LDP reinforcement for added
puncture protection and is available in a 700x35c.

The majority of the many cyclists ask their dealer for anti-puncture tires. Any tire can, of course, get a puncture, because

The CST Platinum Protector contains a perfect combination of 2 materials. The rubber layer that pushes back the sharp

The E-bike collection
E-bike tires up to 25 km/hour
E-bikes usually go much faster than normal bicycles. Speeds up to approximately 25 km/hour are
generally achieved. The law does not prescribe using special tires, however, this is recommended.
There are patterns available that are more suitable for e-bikes. Because the bicycles go faster and
the load is higher due to the weight, the CST engineers think it only right to make these tires
sturdier. The compound will then deliver less rolling resistance, which means that the battery will last
longer. The carcass is reinforced and this ensures that the tires have a longer service life, despite the
heavier load. For these tires, CST indicates that they are suitable for e-bikes up to 25 km/hour.

E-bike tires up to 50 km/hour
Faster e-bikes require a quality certificate. Our special e-bike tires are approved and bear
the ECE-R75 certificate for speeds up to 50 km/hour.Thanks to the specially adapted compound developed by our car tire engineers, the tires are more suitable for taking bends fast and
for keeping the rolling resistance low. The tires are also highly resistant to wear and tear.

E-bikes account for 20% of all new bicycles sold in the Netherlands. These go faster, so obviously the tires also wear faster.
Due to the weight of the bicycles and the greater load, the demand for special tires for these new bicycles has increased
proportionally. The most simple version of CST tires is so well made that they can be assembled on an e-bike up to 25 km/hour.
However, there are increasingly more bicycles with pedal assistance that can go faster than 25 km/hour and for those bicycles
the tires have to be specially approved. With the arrival of the CST E-series Pro, CST has set a new standard for e-bike tires.
The carcass is extremely robust and the compound is specially made to generate less rolling resistance. Add to that the fast
pattern and Double Breaker layer and this can justifiably be called a top-class product.

A new development, originating in the car industry. At low temperatures,
tires lose grip and flexibility. The rubber gets harder and does not mould
to the road so well. The compound used in the new CST Control has a
different composition. At cold temperatures, the rubber composite stays
more supple and the tire retains a better grip. A special tread surface has
also been developed for these tires to produce enhanced road contact.
C1730 Speed
As its name suggests, the CST Sensamo Speed is built for one
thing: speed. The innovative tread pattern featured on the CST
Sensamo Speed allows the tire to roll fast and corner safely.
The CST Sensamo Speed comes equipped with a 60 TPI, dualcompound tread pattern and weighs only 405 grams. The CST

The Vault BMX tire from CST uses a tread pattern suitable for street, park
and dirt riding. With a textured surface and slightly raised shoulder knobs, the
Vault rolls fast without giving up traction. The Vault is available in two widths,
1.95 and 2.20, to suit any freestyle BMX rider’s needs.
Named for the “old school” trick, the CST Decade was designed with
flatland BMX riding in mind. The Decade features a smooth profile, with
no knobs to interfere with your feet while performing tricks. The surface
of the tire is textured to help grip the soles of your shoes. The Decade is
available in 1.75 and 2.00 inch widths.

all-rounder highly suitable for riding on sand or gravel, while the smooth

Sports Tires also
need protection. We
optimised the thinly
woven EPS layer
for racing and ATB

three techniques; EPS,
LDP and EPS BTB.

As the result of an agreement extending through the 2015/2016 season,
