It was almost closing time at The Care Pregnancy Clinic
(CPC), when a teenager came in to get a pregnancy test. She
brought a friend along for support. On the questionnaire she
indicated that if the test was positive, she was considering
an abortion. When the CPC nurse asked Summer why, she
said that she was being pressured to abort. The test came
back negative, and the Nurse began to talk with her
about her spiritual life. The client asked to have her friend
join her in the counseling room. After a lengthy conversation
about God and life, they both made spiritual decisions and
committed their lives to Christ.
As a supporter of The Care Pregnancy Clinic, you played
a role in helping change those two lives for eternity. For
over 34 years, Caring to Love Ministries has been serving
our community right here in Baton Rouge and Louisiana by
providing pregnancy related services to thousands of women
facing pregnancy decisions every year. Through God’s love
and reflecting His compassion to our clients, babies are
saved from being aborted and lives are transformed with the
power of His Word.
We rely on the generosity of individuals, churches and
business for us to continue this important work right here in
our community. The services we provide our clients are done
so at no cost to our clients. We are able to do this because
of the heart and generosity of Life Givers like you.
Families, relationships, and lives are being torn apart by
young girls making the decision to abort their babies. Like the
Good Samaritan, The Care Pregnancy Clinic provides the
necessary services to help families choose life for their
babies with ongoing care and help so they will remain
life minded. As a nonprofit organization, Caring to Love
Ministries – the Care Pregnancy Clinic is committed to our
Life Saving mission of helping those like Summer who often
feel they have to abort and their families who don’t know
what to do with a daughter experiencing a crisis pregnancy.
As we all know, increasing The Care Pregnancy Clinic’s
ability to impact lives, takes skill, expertise, vision, clear
direction, and financial resources. We know that you have
a passion for the lost and the hurting of this world and
The Care Pregnancy Clinic is working every day to help them
find the care and hope they so desperately need during the
pressures of a crisis pregnancy. So many babies and abortion
vulnerable mothers can be rescued and generational issues
can be turned around.

Celebrate Life Banquet 2014
with Dr. Ben Carson
Caring to Love Ministries amazing 29th annual Celebrate Life 2014 Banquet and Gala was enjoyed
by all who participated. Friday night was attended with a record of 1060 Christians from the Church
Community as well as the Medical and Business Communities. Gathering together at the Baton
Rouge River Center to hear guest speaker and friend of the ministry, NYT best-selling author Dr.
Ben Carson, all were challenged by a heart-felt message.

Dorothy Wallis spoke of a client who had fallen hopelessly in love
after seeing her baby on the ultrasound. Brandi was abortion bound
but a neighbor brought her to a better place, the Care Pregnancy
Clinic, where she received a medical consultation and ultrasound.
We saw Brandi’s baby Elise whose life was saved. How encouraging
to hear Myra Mattox speak of her decision to have her baby rather
than terminate her pregnancy even though her relationship with her
boyfriend was a secret. Koryn Plunket was an 18 year old mother
considering abortion to accomplish her educational goals. With the
help of the Care Pregnancy Clinic, Koryn saw she could do both As
you can see, your investment gets results.

The Baby Shower
A Mission to CARE
A young woman came into The Care Pregnancy Clinic
fearing that her only choice was to have another abortion.
The emotional pain of her last abortion was still very heavy
but she felt trapped financially. After a positive test, the
counselor met with her and listened. They talked about
the unsafe risk of another pregnancy termination, the
value she has in God and her baby’s life. She also affirmed
her with biblical counseling. The nurse connected her with
some resources and the young woman agreed to get an
ultrasound a few days later.
She returned to have her ultrasound and walked out like a
proud mother holding the first picture of her baby via ultrasound. She shared her joy with the receptionist pointing
out where the nurse added to her ultrasound glamour shot
“Hi, Mom!”. Then she said that she decided not to abort
and instead to parent. She was overjoyed when she was
invited to our baby boutique. She saw people caring for
her and the fear and pain were replaced with joy and hope!
