What a Joy! When Stephanie arrived at Woman to Woman this past winter, none of her options were easy. She was still in denial about her pregnancy despite 3 positive home tests. The father of her baby didn’t have much to say but was willing to go along with whatever she decided. Her mother was pressuring her to have an abortion, but Stephanie was not convinced that it was the right solution. Our clinic advocate presented her with options, including adoption and that seemed appealing to her at the time, but ultimately, she left the clinic undecided. Later as baby due calls were being made, Stephanie answered the phone. With great enthusiasm, she re-counted the beautiful story of love and answered prayers that unfolded during the prior months. She had decided to move forward with placing her baby for adoption. While speaking of her decision with her grandmother, she discovered that her aunt and uncle had been trying unsuccessfully for years to have children.
