Application Information
Thank you for your interest in Friends of Rescue Squad Park’s
2015 VINTAGE CAR TRUNK SALE. Our purpose is to raise
funds for Rescue Squad Park which is currently under
construction in Denver, NC, near Lincoln Charter School.
Under the leadership of the Denver / Lake Norman Rotary Club Foundation, the
Club has worked with Lincoln County and the Lincoln Charter School to plan and
develop the park and facilities. Rescue Squad Park will be a recreation park in
recognition of the devotion and service provided by the East Lincoln Rescue Squad and the citizens of
Eastern Lincoln County who supported the Rescue Squad over the years. Upon completion it will
consist of 2 multi-purpose fields (soccer, football, etc.), playground, picnic shelter, walking trails, nine
hole disc golf course, multi-purpose green space/open play area, dog park, a large picnic shelter, paving
of trails, parking lot/field lights and a concession stand.
LOCATION Lincoln Charter School – Denver Campus, Galway Lane, Denver, NC.
DATE Saturday, May 2, 2015 (Outside event; in case of inclement weather, the event will be moved
into the gym).

Enclosed is the application. Space is limited; acceptance and location assignments will be made based
on receipt of the application and applicable fees.

3. Booth Rental Fee.

2015 Vintage Car Trunk Sale - General Information for Participants
Booth Operating Hours, Check-In, Set Up and Tear-down
1. Check-in and set up will be 6:30 – 8:00 am. Upon processing your application, you will be assigned a check-in
time so that we may ensure a smooth and orderly check in.
2. Vendors will enter via Galway Lane. Entrance will be clearly marked at the roadside.
3. Please unload your items from your vehicle promptly and park your vehicle in the vendor parking area unless
you will be using your vehicle to display your items. There will be many vendors checking in and setting up and
we will need to minimize the amount of vehicles driving around the display area. Any vehicles not being used
for display of items will remain in the vendor parking area and may not re-enter until after 1:00 pm.
4. PARKING- Any vendor vehicles NOT being used for display of items, must park in the Vendor Parking
Area.
5. Tear down - all vendors are required to remain open during event hours (8:00 am – 1:00 pm). Vehicles may be
driven to the booth only AFTER 1:00 pm.
Compliance with Rules and Policies
Safety is our first priority and we take our responsibility to provide a safe event very seriously. We want everyone to
have a wonderful time and we do not want anyone to be hurt. The Rules and Policies attached are important to protect
the safety of everyone. These rules and policies will be strictly enforced so please take the time to thoroughly read and
understand the “2015 Vintage Car Trunk Sale Rules and Policies”. Please be aware that Lincoln County rules
governing event exhibitors are more comprehensive and restrictive than in past years.
We must stress that you need to carefully read and understand these documents.
You must agree to comply with all Rules and Policies of the 2015 Vintage Car Trunk Sale and Lincoln County in order to
be an exhibitor at the event. Failure to comply with all stated rules and policies may result in expulsion from the event,
forfeiture of all fees and possible citations from the county, and you will not be accepted to participate in the event the
following year. If you have any concerns or questions regarding any of these rules or policies please contact the 2015
Vintage Car Trunk Sale Committee at [email protected].
Vendor Booth Space Information:
Exhibitor booths are 9’ x 18’ (parking space dimensions) in size. All equipment and materials must fit within the
exhibitor’s assigned booth space and must not encroach upon other booths, aisles, or public areas. For larger space
requirements, multiple adjoining booths are available. Exhibitor booths are arranged side-by-side. The standard
exhibitor booth has one side facing the public aisle. This allows displaying along the front of the booth space or
arranging the booth so that visitors can enter into the booth from the front.
Note that the event is held outdoors with no shade from the sun. NO FREESTANDING CANOPIES ARE ALLOWED
DUE TO the Lincoln County Emergency Management & Fire Marshal’s Office. If it rains, the event will be moved into
the gym.
The basic exhibitor booth fee is for an assigned space. No equipment or utilities are provided. Exhibitors must provide
their own tables, chairs, etc.
Utilities: Electrical Service, Water, and Lighting: Electricity and water will not be provided. Vendors must
meet all applicable Fire Codes, Environmental Health Codes, and applicable County Codes.
Security
Friends of the Rescue Squad Park will provide limited security. However, it is the exhibitor’s sole responsibility to
provide for his or her own protection. Friends of the Rescue Squad Park assumes no liability for loss, theft, damage, or
misplacement of merchandise and equipment from any or all causes.

1. FOR SAFETY – EXHIBITOR VEHICLES ARE NOT PERMITTED TO MOVE WITHIN AREAS OPEN TO PUBLIC
PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC. (Note: This is important for the safety of our guests. Exhibitor’s vehicles are not allowed to
move in the booth area until the area is closed to the public and all pedestrians have been cleared from the area.)
2. FOR SAFETY - NO PETS OR ANIMALS ALLOWED except for bona fide service dogs.
3. FOR SAFETY – EXHIBITORS MUST COMPLY WITH ALL COUNTY LAWS AND REGULATIONS. All applicable
Fire Codes and Environmental Health & Safety Codes must be met.
4. ONE VEHICLE MAY BE PARKED AT YOUR BOOTH SITE. During set-up one vehicle at a time may be driven to or
near your booth site to deliver your booth materials. The vehicle must be immediately unloaded and moved to the
designated parking area. Trailers, trucks, cars, wagons, or carts may be left in the festival exhibitor booth area
5. Please provide a list of the items being sold at your booth on your application. Changes must be approved prior to
the event. Friends of the Rescue Squad Park Committee has sole discretion on acceptance of exhibitors, booth
activities, and items being sold.
6. DO NOT RELOCATE OR MOVE FROM YOUR ASSIGNED BOOTH SPACE(S) WITHOUT APPROVAL.
7. DO NOT INFRINGE ON OTHER SPACES OR PUBLIC AREAS.
8. DO NOT UTILIZE LOUD MUSIC, LOUDSPEAKER SYSTEMS, OR MEGAPHONE DEVICES.
9. DO NOT CLOSE OR DISMANTLE YOUR BOOTH PRIOR TO THE TIME INDICATED ON YOUR APPLICATION
FORM. Acceptance in the festival is a commitment by you to participate during the times indicated on your
application.
10. Completed 2015 Vintage Car Trunk Sale Exhibitor Applications must be submitted with the booth space rental fee
before booth space will be assigned. Applications must be received prior to April 25, 2015.Booth assignments will
be emailed
11. PARKING: Vendors who arrive during set-up times will have access to a designated parking area. Vendors that
arrive during event hours will need to park in the designated area.

THE RULES AND POLICIES OF THE 2015 VINTAGE CAR TRUNK SALE AND LINCOLN COUNTY.
I FURTHER UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT FRIENDS OF RESCUE SQUAD PARK AND LINCOLN
CHARTER SCHOOL, ARE NOT LIABLE OR RESPONSIBLE IN ANY WAY FOR DAMAGES, INJURY,
THEFT OR LOSS OF ME, MY ORGANIZATION, OR ANY PERSONS OR GOODS FROM ANY CAUSE

IN THE EVENT THAT THE 2015 VINTAGE CAR TRUNK SALE IS UNABLE TO BE HELD AS
SCHEDULED DUE TO ACTS OF NATURE, ACTS OF GOD, OR ANY OTHER REASON BEYOND THE
CONTROL OF THE FRIENDS OF RESCUE SQUAD PARK, OR IF THE FESTIVAL IS INTERRUPTED
IN ANY WAY, I AGREE THAT NO REFUND WILL BE MADE AND THAT FRIENDS OF RESCUE
SQUAD PARK AND LINCOLN CHARTER SCHOOL WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE.
I UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT FRIENDS OF RESCUE SQUAD PARK AND LINCOLN
CHARTER SCHOOL IN NO WAY GUARANTEE ANY RETURN OR BENEFITS TO EXHIBITOR.
I AGREE TO FOREVER INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS FRIENDS OF RESCUE SQUAD PARK
AND LINCOLN CHARTER SCHOOL FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL CLAIMS FOR LOSS,
DEATH OR DAMAGE OF PERSON OR PROPERTY AND ANY OTHER LOSS WHATSOEVER
ARISING OUT OF ANY ACT, OMISSION, OR NEGLIGENCE IN THE OPERATION OR CONDUCT OF
ME OR MY BUSINESS, INCLUDING VOLATION OF ANY LAW, AND ALL ATTORNEY’S FEES AND
COSTS INCURRED BY THOSE PARTIES.
ALL THE FOREGOING IS AGREED TO IN CONSIDERATION OF AND AS A CONDITION
PRECEDENT TO 2015 VINTAGE CAR TRUNK SALE PROVIDING TO ME OR MY BUSINESS
APPLIED FOR EXHIBITOR SPACE.
THESE INDEMNIFICATION PROVISIONS SHALL SURVIVE AFTER THE 2015 VINTAGE CAR TRUNK
SALE.
