All shipments should be insured by the exhibitor from the time shipment leaves your firm until shipment is returned from the show. Contact your insurance representative for more information. Shipments received without receipts, freight bills or specified unit counts on receipts or freight bills, such as UPS or van lines, will be delivered to booth without guarantee of piece count or condition. No liability will be assumed by Mart Show Services (MSS) for these shipments. MSS is not responsible for shipments left in booth by exhibitor without completed shipping instructions. At the close of the show, if exhibitor’s carrier of choice fails to either pick-up shipment or refuses to accept shipment, MSS reserves the right to re-route such shipment or haul material to a warehouse pending advice from the exhibitor who will be charged accordingly for this service. No liability will be assumed as a result of such re-routing or handling. MSS will not be responsible for damage to uncrated shipments, to material improperly packed, for any concealed damage, for loss or theft of materials after same have been delivered to booth or before MSS has picked-up for loading out of exhibit hall. Freight handling charges are the responsibility of the exhibiting company for whom materials have been received and handled. The exhibiting company may not assign this responsibility to suppliers or customers. The consignment or delivery of a shipment to the Mart or YRC by an exhibitor, or by any shipper to or on behalf of the exhibitor, shall be construed as an acceptance by such exhibitor (and/or other shipper) of the terms and conditions set forth. INBOUND BILL OF LADING OR DELIVERY RECEIPT All shipments must have a bill of lading or delivery receipt showing number of pieces, weight, and description of merchandise. If shipments arrive without weight on bill of lading and weight is unobtainable, a mutual decision as to approximate weight will be determined and will be binding on both parties. Copies of bill of lading, with the same name of the carrier, should be forwarded to Mart Show Services as soon as shipments are made. This will assist in tracing if required. EMPTY CONTAINER LABELS Empty container labels will be available at the service desk. Affixing the labels is the sole responsibility of the exhibitor or representative. All previous labels should be removed or obliterated. Mart Show Services assumes no responsibility for: 1. Errors to above procedure. 2. Removal of containers with old empty labels or without Mart Show Service’s labels. 3. Improper information on empty labels. 4. Valuables, merchandise, or other material stored in containers with empty labels. OUTBOUND SHIPPING Each exhibitor will be expected to label his exhibit materials and furnish shipping information. Labels and bills of lading will be available on show-site. Previous shipping labels should be removed or obliterated. Mart Show Services accepts no responsibility for misdirected shipments as a result of old shipping labels which remain on containers. Exhibitors not using the preferred freight carrier should call their carrier of choice and arrange for pick up. Exhibitors should also take completed bill of lading to the Mart Show Service desk when shipment is packed, labeled and ready to ship out. Exhibits and materials for which arrangements have not been made with Mart Show Services or which have not been removed from exhibit area on move-out day, will be removed and held at our warehouse, at an additional charge, to await disposition. Mart Show Services reserves the right to route exhibit material via an alternate carrier in the event that the exhibitor’s requested carrier fails to pick-up the shipment within a reasonable period after the close of the show.
