NON-DEPED SCHOOLS

Pursuant to Section 30 of the Implementing Rules and Regulations
(IRR) of Republic Act (RA) No. 10533 known as the Enhance Basic
Education Act of 2013 and DepEd Memorandum No. 4, s. 2014, “Guidelines
on the Preparation for the National Implementation of the Senior High School
(SHS) Program in Non-DepEd Schools for the School Year (SY) 2016-2017 and
Onwards”, DepEd Region XII will conduct a Workshop on Senior High
School (SHS) Documentation of Non-DepEd Schools on June 9, 2015 at
8:00AM to 5:00PM at Conference Room, 3rd Floor DepEd ROXII, Brgy.
Carpenter Hill, Koronadal City.
2.
The objectives of this activity are to:
a. implement DepEd Memorandum No. 4, s. 2014 to the division
offices;
b. create the regional and division SHS for Private Schools Validating
Team and
c. capacitate the division teams in evaluating required documents for
application to offer SHS by private schools.
3.
The participants of this workshop are the following:
a. QAD and CLMD Program Supervisors and Chiefs
b. 4 representatives from SDOs
i. SGOD Chief
ii. SHS Coordinator
iii. EPS In Charge of Private Schools
iv. Senior Education Program Specialist for M & E

4.
Participants are required to bring documents of sample Non-DepEd
Schools applying for Senior High School Program.
5.
Food will be charged to Region MOOE while transportation expenses
of the participants will be charged to local funds subject to the usual
accounting and auditing rules and procedures.
6.
Immediate and wide dissemination of this Memorandum to all
concerned is desired.
