toward NYC (Nazarene Youth Conference) in July.
Responding to Needs in Nepal
We are sending funds from our Faith Promise giving
to help care for the people of Nepal and the Nazarene
Churches there. Thank you for giving to our 2015 Faith
Promise Fund. Because of your giving we are able to
help those in desperate need. For further information, visit the nazarene.org website.
Welcome to the Walls Family!
Today’s sermon, along with other recent messages, is available online at www.dfcnazarene.
org. Click on Audio Sermons to hear more. To
order a CD of today’s message, stop by the
Welcome Center.
For week three we’ll take a closer look at a story in 2 Kings 5 that involves Elisha and his servant
named Gehazi. At a moment in time when Gehazi saw Elisha turn down a gift, Gehazi decided that
he could take advantage of the situation and take the gift for himself. He went behind Elisha’s back,
denied his actions, and inevitably lost Elisha’s trust. Bottom Line: When you are not truthful, you lose
trust. If you continually tell lies and hurt people with dishonesty, eventually you will lose the trust of
those around you. We hope kids realize that honesty helps them build relationships with others.
Next Steps - May 31
Our next two-part Next Steps class will be Sunday, May 31 and June 7 at 9:30 am in Kidventure. Part
1 will be about Salvation and Part 2 will be Baptism and Communion. A grown-up must attend with
their child. The next Baptism service will be on June 17 at the Donberger’s pool! Please RSVP to Pastor Jessie at [email protected].

have tangible ideas for how to share our faith.
