AWANA Appreciation Night
IFOSuD is a Christian international non-profit organization based in Léogane,
Haiti promoting social, entrepreneurial and sustainable development. Our
mission is to alleviate the poverty of Haitian farmers and rural microentrepreneurs in a sustainable way in regards to the improvement of their
livelihoods and food security conditions. Our mission is to promote farmers’
association and spread the most sustainable farming methods for alleviating
poverty
To reduce the complacent behavior and encourage the
entrepreneurial culture
To build capacity and empower rural entrepreneurs for their selfreliance
To spread Biblical values while helping vulnerable people rise out of
poverty.
In IFOSuD we believe that discipleship is the basic component through which
social change can occur.
SERVING CIRCLES
In an effort to provide coordination and equality in the area of serving, we
have three circles that rotate in the duties of setting-up, serving, and cleanup. If you are not on a serving circle and would like to be, or you would be
willing to provide food, please contact Gaylene Johnson.
LADIES EVENTS
Ladies, we will be doing some thrifting in Fargo on Saturday, March 7. For
anyone interested in carpooling let’s meet at the church at 9am. Any
questions please contact Ashley Boulais. This event is on our Facebook page;
if you are not on this group and would like to be, please let Ashley know.

POLAND TRIP

Mayville State University Cru is preparing to take their first ever
mission trip. We will be going to Warsaw, Poland to work with one of
our missionaries from Riverside and a former student from MSU,
Piotrek (Poppi) Paprocki. Poppi is a missionary with Athletics in
Action, which is a part of the Campus Crusade organization. He and
his wife, Heidi and their 3 children work with coaches and students in
Warsaw. Our team is now assembled and consists of: Lloyd, Linda
and Zach Arnegard, Brooke McNary, Sam Johnson, Liza Hoglo, Alicia
Loiland, and Kody Keysor. We are working on raising the funds for
this mission experience. We will be going over MSU spring break
which is March 14-22, 2015. If you have any questions or would like
to be a part of our fundraising efforts, please contact Lloyd or Linda.
There will be a fundraiser at the Grand Forks Pizza Ranch on Feb. 23,
from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Pizza Ranch will donate 20% of your bill
and 100% of tips/donations will go directly to supporting the costs to
Poland. Please see a member of the group for a coupon to present
that night.
Sunday March 1, there will be a Spaghetti Dinner & Silent Auction
from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
