EAU SAUVAGE COLOGNE

presents
Born from a desire for renewal, Eau Sauvage burst onto the scene in 1966,
shifting everything in its wake.
Unexpected and unprecedented, mirroring the changes the young were living at
the time.
Young people bubbling with life, seeking a new truth.
Since then, Eau Sauvage has gained an enviable status as a great classic.
Its boldness has turned into an absolute reference.
It has held its appeal from generation to generation, with impressive consistency.
Today it wants to go further still.
To surprise the youth of today in their fast-paced race to reinvent themselves.
2015: Eau Sauvage undergoes a new revolution.
A new Cologne is born.
A different Cologne that packs a new punch.
A Cologne that is truly sauvage…

Eau Sauvage Cologne, a rebellious legacy
How to reinterpret a legend?
Respectfully, but also by choosing to shake things up.
With reverence, but impertinence too.
Fresh and vivid, Eau Sauvage Cologne surprises.
Its timeless elegance is recognizable, but now comes with a unique relief.
New playful notes.
An instant charm, striking and clear.
A modern Cologne that transcends fashions and seasons.
A new youth for a legendary composition.
Eau Sauvage Cologne, a new, solar freshness
Eau Sauvage is a legend.
As is the creation of Cologne, equally renowned.
Their meeting is a shock, an expressive explosion.
François Demachy took hold of the legend, delved into its structure and brought
out the salient elements that form its signature. He then played on the proportions,
increasing the amounts of certain raw materials, lessening others.
Woody, fresh and spicy, Eau Sauvage Cologne is the epitome of charm.
An instant composition that bursts into life.
A spontaneous flash that also conceals deftly faceted nuances.
“With Eau Sauvage Cologne I tried to keep the apparent simplicity of this
construction. A clarity that actually hides nuances and details, darkness and light.”

It still hooks you with its citrus vivacity, but now introduces Mandarin, a brand new
element in Eau Sauvage
Calabrian Bergamot is decisive and amply present.
A powerful dose of it unfolds a suave yet tart charm and envelops the whole
structure of the Cologne.
A more piano note of Grapefruit, another novelty for this composition, instills a
sweet tanginess that perfectly echoes the woody, virile base of Vetiver.
Hedion, the emblematic Eau Sauvage molecule, is as present as ever but now
chosen in a new, more floral and modern variety.
Pink Peppercorns play on their spicy fresh charm, like a lemony pepper that
lingers and surprises.
Indispensable to the “Cologne” identity, Petitgrain meets the famous Aniseed note
of Eau Sauvage, more salient and expressive than ever.
Lastly, Galbanum brings the warm green aromas that a hot summer sky gives to
scrubland.
Redesigned
The Eau Sauvage bottle is as famous as the fresh notes it holds.
Eau Sauvage Cologne is a new nuance adorned with a pure, elegant, grainy white
label and stopper.
The glass folds do not change, but the legendary name is now inscribed on shiny
metal.
And for the first time, the initials of the creator, CD, are elegantly stamped on the
top of the stopper.

Alain Delon, tender-hearted “bad boy”
An irresistible hipster before his time, Alain Delon’s wild beauty strikes again.
It is 1966 and Robert Enrico is shooting The Last Adventure.
Unsurprisingly, the very same year Eau Sauvage shifts the standards of male
fragrances.
The sign of the same fiery spirit…
Alain Delon fills the screen to music by Black Strobe, a sure sign of virility that
rocks, Eau Sauvage style.
He grabs and hypnotizes the frame.
A handsome man, cheeky and charming, profound and light-hearted.
Alain Delon and Eau Sauvage, the saga of a modernity that thrives on eternity.
