Sample the basics in this short session! Power Poses (and positive self-talk) Marc Helgesen (1.15pm) Power Poses, based on Harvard’s Amy Cuddy’s popular TED talk, combines grammar-focused student-to-student TPR with “linguistic selfdistancing” self-talk which avoids the ironic negatives sometimes related to “positive affirmations”. The handout just might be your Monday lesson plan! The maximum capacity is 150, so space will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. The signup form will close when we reach 150. Thank you for your understanding! To reach the BBQ area, please use the Nishi-Tachikawa Gate and follow the path shown here in red. The gate is in front of NishiTachikawa Station on the JR Ome Line. You will need to pay an entrance fee to Showa Kinen Park of ¥410 for adults (15 years old and above) and ¥80 for children.
