Review and Archiving of Obsolete Office of
Developmental Programs Communications

The mission of the Office of Developmental Programs is to support Pennsylvanians with developmental disabilities to
achieve greater independence, choice and opportunity in their lives.
AUDIENCE: All interested parties
PURPOSE: To communicate a full listing of all ODP announcements, informational memos and
Informational packets that have been removed and archived from the ODP
Consulting website.
DISCUSSION:
In January of 2015, an extensive review was begun of all of the active communications listed as current
on the ODP Consulting website. The purpose of the review was to identify announcements,
informational memos and informational packets that could be archived on the system.
First a complete review of the communications was completed. Communications that were out of date
or no longer current practice were identified. Next, a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within ODP was
identified and contacted to identify whether the communication would still be considered current or
could be archived. After the SME replied to the request for information, the communications identified
as obsolete were archived and removed from the current listing of ODP communications.
It is ODP’s intention to periodically review the communications from this point forward in order to make
sure all information presented on the vendor platform remains relevant.
