Teacher Appreciation Week

Each day during this week, the STP has organized a small event.
However, we need your help to make this week a success!
Please encourage your student to acknowledge those teachers and staff who have played a
special role in his or her education, through a thoughtful note or other small token of appreciation.
These personal expressions of appreciation can be shared with teachers anytime!
Scheduled Events
Monday, May 4: Breakfast for teachers, generously donated by Bart, Kim and Ashley Gilliom
Tuesday, May 5: Coffee and hot chocolate donated by Angela Thomas, Organo Gold Coffee
Wednesday, May 6: Bundt cakes donated by Chris Lukowski, Nothing Bundt Cakes
Thursday, May 7: Lunch for teachers, generously donated by Yolanda and Mike, parents of
Sofia and Miguel Martikonis, to thank the staff for all they do.
Friday, May 8: Surprise from students to teachers, with special support from Wendy Ventola,
the Art Club and Ms. Allen, the Leadership Council, the Yearbook Club through Michel Brossmer, and Jason Moore.

STP ANNOUNCEMENT Calling all DSST Parents/Guardians!
Please join both the 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 Science and Tech Parent Board
members for our final meeting of the school year on 5/12. We are actively
seeking parents interested in joining the Board for the 2015/16 school year,
parents interested in working on next year's STP-sponsored projects, and those
who just want to learn a little more about the STP. Brad White, our School
Director, will also be presenting some exciting news about DSST Byer's long
term plans.
