The Plan of the Month is an official document of the OVERLORD Division and its
contents reflect current orders of the Commanding Officer LTjg Gabe LaMartina,
NSCC and official unit announcements. All Division personnel are responsible
for reading and understanding the information contained herein. Parents and/or
guardians of Cadets are REQUIRED to read the Plan of the Month and to make note
of meeting days and special announcements that may affect personal schedules.

COMMANDING OFFICER’S NOTES
1. CADET OOD:
a. The OOD (Officer of the Deck) is a senior Petty Officer
that handles the unusual events that occur during the
workday. They will ensure that the Building is properly
secure at the end of the day (no gear adrift, well
cleaned, lights turned off, ALL trash taken out, etc.).
They report directly to the XO who will take the OOD
logbook at the end of each day.
2. UNAUTHORIZED ITEMS:
a. Parent and cadets are reminded that the following items
such as cigarettes, lighter(s), knives, iPods, cards,
dice, and CELL PHONES*** are not to be brought to drill.
*** CELL PHONES may be given to a designated adult leader
for the sole purpose of placing emergency calls.
3. ATTENDANCE
a. NSCC Regulations state that cadets must attend 75% of all
scheduled drills.
4. Things to bring to Drill
- ID Card/ General Orders Card
- NWU Uniform w/ 8 Pt cover
- PT Gear (Dark Shorts, White Socks, and Dunedogs T
Shirt. Dark Blue if you do not have one.NO White T’s!)
- Boots, Running shoes w/ WHITE socks
- Canteen/ water bottle (I Will Not Issue any more Water
Bottles)
- Hygiene Kit
- Rain Gear and cold gear as needed
- Face well shaved and Hair cut
- 1 Red Pen. 2 Black Pens & Paper
- BRING PACKED LUNCH
- Drill Fee $5
- You must bring at least 2 Assignments from your
current coursework
5. Questions to be answered on RSVP
