Maintenance free solid construction Easy LED PRO Wave® series of luminaires is designed for street and area lighting in even the most demanding environments. The modular construction, tough aluminum housing and advanced power management make the PRO Wave® luminaires long lasting and energy efficient. They can be installed or retrofitted almost anywhere with the wide range of mounts and fittings available. There is also a range of PRO Wire luminaires for wire installation PRO Wave® luminaires are suitable for most common road classes (AL, AE ja K) as well as for area lighting. The light distribution of the luminaires is managed with with different optics. The light can be either focused on desired areas or used to provide wider general lighting. The luminaires are approved by the Finnish Transport Agency and have IP66 protection certificate as well as IK09 impact resistance certified aluminum housing. All the components from led modules to power management system come with five years’ warranty. easyled.fi 4 PRO Wave® Modular PRO Wave® is mor Modularity Because of their modular design, suitable PRO Wave® luminaires are available for every road type as well as for area lighting. The power consumption of the luminaires varies between 15 W to 240 W depending on the size and configuration of the unit. The power consumption does not increase during the luminaire’s lifespan The luminous flux of the luminaires varies from 1 500 to 28 000 lumens. Controlling systems The luminaire’s dimmer is compatible with all 1–10 V control voltage systems. A DALI control is also available for the PRO Wave®. Maintenance free design The easy to install PRO Wave® luminaires have an IP66 protection rating and over 80 000 hours maintenance free usage lifespan. Thanks to their smooth design, they are also easy to keep clean. Lifespan, efficiency and reliability The goal of design was to produce a LED module combining best possible longevity with high efficacy and reliability. To achieve these goals, the modules are based on Osram Opto Semiconductors Oslon series leds that are able to offer a light color temperature (CCT normal) of 3 000, 4 000, 5 000 or 6 000 K with multiple color rendering index. For best possible light efficiency and lifespan the led modules use exceptionally low drive current, which also enables low operating costs. Application & Modular design e than the sum of its parts Tough and solid The PRO Wave® luminaires are assembled into a solid, low copper (less than 0,1 mass-%) aluminum housing to guarantee their corrosion resistance. The optics’ are made of shock resistant polycarbonate with IK09 impact protection rating. The fixing brackets can withstand strong vibrations and harsh environments. They enable versatile installation of the luminaires to heights between 3 to 30 meters. All screws are made of non-corrosive, Delta D treated, stainless steel. The stock color of the luminaires is RAL 9006 white aluminum. Other RAL colors or special coatings are available on request. The inbuilt relief valve prevents forming of condensation inside the casing. Customized drivers The Easy LED driver technology, designed and manufactured in Finland, is the secret of the long lifespan of the PRO Wave® luminaires. The integrated drivers are optimized for the led modules for best possible performance. Combined with the luminaires’ advanced power management system that is beyond the norm, they provide efficiency of up to 125 lm/W. The PRO Wave® system – materials, electronics and thermal management – is designed to exceed 80 000 hours’ maintenance free usage lifespan, even in environments with ambient temperatures as high as +50°C. The bright choice PRO Wave® lens optics’ are made from UV-stabilized polycarbonate and they’re tailored for road and area lighting. The amount of lens modules varies according to the needs of the lighted area. The light distribution can be adjusted with different optics’. Even tailored optics’ are available on request. easyled.fi 5 6 PRO Wave® The benefits of Easy LED luminaires Tailored Easy LED drivers Easy LED offers a wide range of GS, ENEC and FI certified constant current led drivers. This enables designing the luminaires for best possible performance without compromising their protection or EMC-requirements. The tailored drivers enable optimized system level solutions with the highest possible light efficiency and overall reliability. This applies to all models regardless their size, as different led driver combinations have been taken into account already in their design. The drivers are designed to withstand the conditions inside the housing, even when operating temperatures reach +50°C. To meet even the most stringent quality requirements, all drivers are tested for correct operation and performance values before being installed inside the luminaires. Each luminaire is fully re-tested and inspected after final assembly at Easy LED factory. Intelligent thermal protection The intelligent automatic thermal protection of Easy LED luminaires ensures the long life expectancy of the product – even if erroneously used in operating temperatures higher than permitted. This feature is inbuilt in the tailor-made Easy LED constant current drivers and is operational immediately after power is turned on. Thermal protection gradually lowers luminaires power level in smooth 20 % steps when the operating temperature exceeds +40°C or even +55°C, depending on the model. The system returns to full power using advanced hysteresis when the operating temperatures return to rated levels. For human safety and maintenance purposes luminaires will never completely shut down. And when even more flexibility or features are required, you can’t go wrong with the wide range of Easy LED luminaires. Cooling of a device designed to last for several decades cannot rely on moving parts. Passive cooling without fins is the safest method to control the temperatures of a led luminaire. The surface of the passive cooling housing of PRO Wave® luminaires is smooth, making the cooling reliable and cleaning easier as it does not collect dust or grime. The efficient design keeps the PRO Wave® luminaires cool. Growing light pollution has become a problem all around the world. The ambient light hides the stars and confuses night insects. PRO Wave® luminaires are designed to distribute maximum amount of light to the ground below – and minimal to the skies above. easyled.fi 7 8 PRO Wave® Accessories Kaamos brightens your finances by dimming your lights Kaamos is an automatic dimmer for PRO Wave® luminaires, which saves money and increases comfort by dimming the streetlights during the quiet hours of the night. Kaamos is suitable in locations where outdoor lighting is required throughout the year, but where less light is needed during the most quiet midnight hours. Such areas include for example parks, courtyards and parking areas and quiet streets. In residential areas Kaamos cuts the amount of disturbing light in nighttime. How the Kaamos works Kaamos dims the lights 1 h 30 min before the darkest point of the night by lowering the 1–10 V lines voltage. The dimming is carried out softly in 60 seconds. The lighting is dimmed for 4 h 30 mins after the darkest point of the night, after which the system ramps softly up to full power. The total time the dimming is in use is 6 hours. Kaamos can adjust its operation intelligently in exceptional situations like power failures. Example of the operation Kaamos works independently and maintenance free without separate control units or remote control. The intelligent dimming system follows the seasons. During the summer evenings, when less lighting is needed, the dimming kicks in soon after the streetlights are turned on whereas in the wintertime lighting is on for longer. The user still controls the turning on and off of the lights, as Kaamos only dims them. Kaamos can be installed during assembly or retrofitted. It can also be removed from the luminaire if needed.
