Homelessness Starvation/Disease We can not continue the slide into failed states and continued self destruction © www.e-cavi.com Predictions into 2030 not so pleasant – Measles, Pneumonia and Diarrhoeal disease to contribute 60% of all our under 5 deaths in the EA region © www.e-cavi.com • 70% of all child deaths in the EA – due to: • LRTI (pneumonia) =19%, • Diarrhoea (18%), • Malaria (8%), • Measles, (4%), • HIV/AIDS (3%), • Neonatal conditions.
