Competition
• Pure Storage offers “double-pass” (inefficient) deduplication and compression for its all-flash arrays, but the cost is much
higher than SANblox with your array.
• NetApp FAS series offers inline compression and limited post-process deduplication, providing moderate data savings and
poor performance. NetApp does not recommend using either feature for heavy production workloads.
• HP 3PAR StoreServ offers inline deduplication, but only for its 7450 (all flash) model. The 7450 lacks compression, limiting its
data reduction potential.
• HDS offers no deduplication or compression for block storage, yet.
