Parents,
It is hard for me to realize that school will be out very soon.
Thank you for letting us work with your child this year. Thank you
if you volunteered in any way, helped in classrooms, or served on
the School Council. I know that it has been a TEAM effort for this
year to be so successful. It has been great getting to know our
students and watching them learn and grow.
I encourage you to read with your child this summer. I recommend
the "summer reading program" at the public library. More
information is available on our school web-site.
I will look forward to seeing all of you next year!
Sincerely,
Rosa Harris

A NOTE ABOUT EARNING PRIZES AT THE PUBLIC LIBRARY:
Every child may earn a prize for each hour he/she reads or is read to. Just keep track of time spent on the log
sheet and present it to Library Staff when ready to claim a prize. It is up to the parent/guardian to determine
how much time has been spent reading. Prizes change weekly.
