CE CREAM * ART SHOW * AUCTION !!! Mark your calendars for Friday, May 1, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Come to Creekmoor for ice cream from the PTA and an art show featuring gems, butterflies, weavings, still life, abstract paintings, cats, mice, food, mod cities, koi fish, flowers and art inspired by the seasons! Bring family and friends to enjoy all the art work and make a bid for glass jewelry, painted chairs, tshirt rugs, painted scarves, and clay bowls. Our goal is to purchase a few iPads for the art room. Most importantly, I would love to see families gather at Creekmoor to celebrate our creativity! Creatively yours, Miss Cartwright Health Room I hope everyone is enjoying the nicer weather! Spring has finally arrived, and with it I am seeing more students with allergies. We have a need for boys jeans or sweat pants sizes 514. If you have some you would like to donate then that would be much appreciated. I am looking forward to meeting our new K students for next year during their screening. Have a nice Easter. Penny Scott, RN Technology Tidbits I wanted to share another resource for practicing typing skills.

http://www.abcya.com/kids_typing_games.htm Here is the resource that I previously shared for practicing typing skills: http://www.learninggamesforkids.com/keyboarding_games.html The more practice your student(s) can get with typing, the better! If now is a busy time, bookmark these sites for summer! This will benefit your students in this age of technology! Mrs. Schultz recently did a career unit with the students and when they came to me for computer class they visited these two websites:

(Career Town) and

http://www.lessonpaths.com/learn/i/careerexplorationfor5thgrade/pawsinjobland (Paws in Jobland) to support her curriculum. Feel free to check them out at home. Have a wonderful April! Mrs. Zaner Physical Education Important Information for Field Day
Monday, May 18. Tshirt orders for Field Day tshirts will be coming home soon. The tshirt orders will be due on Monday, April 27. Field Day is an awesome day for Creekmoor kids and we need your help to make it a success. This year, signups to volunteer to help on Field Day will be through Sign Up Genius, an online signup. I will send home the link to the signup soon. If you can help, you can sign up for a full day or a half day that is either morning or afternoon. I ask that if you sign up for the full day, you will choose one station to work all day. When you get the signup link, please read the information carefully. Thanks in advance to any parent volunteers. It is greatly appreciated! I am asking for donations so that I can provide a snack mix to all students on Field Day. Below is what I am asking students in the different grade levels to provide. If you can donate, please have your student bring the donated item to the computer lab: Kindergarten
