INFORMAL SESSION FOR PARENTS OF CHILDREN WITH
SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS
Would you like to meet and chat with other parents/carers of children and young
people with Special Educational Needs in a friendly and confidential setting? Then
this event could be a good starting point. The focus of the meeting is to provide
an insight into the Wolverhampton Information Network with a representative from
the service.
Friday 15th May 2015 9.30-11.30 at Penn Fields School
Target audience:
Parents and carers of babies, children and young people with SEN, whatever that
need and no matter whether your child attends mainstream or special school.
About the event:
Being a parent is tough. We can all benefit from reflecting on our role as parents
or carers. Sometimes you may feel that it would be great to speak informally to
other parents, sharing ideas and experiences.
This event aims to provide a setting where parents and carers can meet together
to share with, and hopefully, learn from, one another.
