Introduction to Psychology Certificate (9 credits) The 9-credit Introduction to Psychology certificate will prepare you for an entry-level position with a human services organization. Certificate holders may work for agencies providing services to persons with physical, emotional, or mental disabilities. They may pursue employment in a variety of settings including rehabilitation centers, drug and alcohol programs, community mental health programs, intellectual disability programs, corrections systems, and hospitals. Certificate programs are ideal for people who want a short-term academic credential. A credit certificate program can be the gateway to a college degree.
