NEED A PRIEST
This Sunday is vocations Sunday—we are called to pray for all vocations and specifically for ; Diocesan
priests to serve in our parishes ;religious priests, brothers and sisters to serve the specific vocations of their
orders and deacon to help the parish priests with their duties. We have a shortage of priests and the demands on priests are increasing. The laity—Thank God Almighty , are helping in many vital ways, but we
still need priests to administer to us the sacraments, to pray for us and to be at the service of God’s word.
Most priest I know are overwhelmed with their responsibilities and love for their flock. We need to support
them with our prayers and our involvement in our parishes and various lay diocesan structures. We are all
the Church, we need each other as a family needs each member , no one member better or superior to the
other, but all working for the glory of GOD.

The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.
1. Give praise to the Lord, for he is good;
His mercy endures forever.
It is better to take refuge in the Lord
than to trust in man;
It is better to take refuge in the Lord
than to trust in princes. R

And you are my saviour.
The stone that the builders rejected
has become the cornerstone.
By the Lord has this been done, a marvel in our eyes. R
3. Blest is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
We bless you from the house of the Lord.
You are my God, I praise you.
