Enactus SFU Executive Team 2015-2016 Director of Program Innovation Position Overview: The Director of Program Innovation is critical to achieving Enactus SFU’s goal of creating sustainable programs that address needs within our community. Your primary goal will be to construct and develop the existing procedures that establish project partnerships and opportunities. As project alignment to Enactus criteria is crucial, you will be first to approve or disprove new project initiatives, in turn, presenting a portfolio of project ideas to the executive team and President for review. Secondary goals include acting as an intermediary consistently communicating project needs and challenges to the Enactus SFU executive team and President, and ensuring Program Managers are fully supported. This position will allow you the opportunity to develop your leadership, critical-thinking, interpersonal and communication skills while enabling Enactus SFU to help various program audiences in need. Your term will run from June 2015 to May 2016. Responsibilities: ● ● ● ● ● ● ● Overseeing the development of the Innovation Team Meeting with external organizations to establish project partnerships Presenting a portfolio of project ideas to the executive team and President Ensuring Project Managers follow Enactus criteria with appropriate tracking of metrics and milestones to determine project growth and impact Communicating Project Manager needs to the executive team and President Assisting Project Managers with project management tools and templates Cheering on the development of new initiatives! Qualifications: ● Demonstrated leadership and problem solving skills ● Interest in the strategy behind the creation of new Enactus SFU projects ● Comfortable in creating and maintaining excellent relationships with stakeholders ● Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) ● Capable of meeting multiple deadlines ● BUS 361 is an asset Please contact Winona Bhatti at [email protected] with any questions
