TENDER NOTICE
FOR SUPPLY OF IT/M&E AND FURNITURE
Sealed tenders / bids are invited from GST / INCOME TAX registered firms / suppliers for the supply of the
under noted Items to Punjab Power Management Unit (PPMU), Energy Department. Delivery of items will be
made by the firms / suppliers at their own arrangement.

Terms & Conditions and Tender can also be down loaded from web site www.energy.punjab.gov.pk and
PPRA (www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk). Last date for submission of tender is 16th June 2015 by 12:00 PM. The
tender will be opened in the presence of bidders / representatives of the firms / suppliers on the same day at

TERMS & CONDITIONS:
1. The delivery of the afore mentioned items shall be required immediately, so the lowest technical compliant
bidder should be in a position to deliver the aforesaid items immediately after award of the contract
2. Quoted prices must be inclusive of all taxes and other charges/expenses like handling, loading, and
transportation etc. Quoted prices must also be inclusive of cost for the free maintenance of above mentioned
items during warranty period in Pak Rupees.
3. Quoted price shall be valid for Three (3) months from the opening date of the bids.
4. Income tax and GST will be deducted as per rules
5. This office has the right to cancel the tender inquiry without assigning any reason thereof as per PPRA rules.
6.
PAYMENT:
100% payment of the total value of the bill/purchase order will be released subject to:
6.1 Completion of the delivery and installation of the equipment in accordance with the specifications
mentioned in the Purchase Order;
6.2 Submission of Bank Guarantee (to be issued by any renowned schedule bank) being 5% of the total
bid value for the warranty period. Guarantee shall be released after successful completion of
warranty period.
7. SEALING AND MARKING OF BIDS.
The bids shall be submitted in sealed envelope on the following address, clearly showing the name of
tender and enquiry number:

EARNEST MONEY: (Refundable in case of failure to win the tender)
The Bidder shall furnish as part of his bid, a Call Deposit/Pay Order equivalent to 2% of the total bid value
as Earnest Money crossed in favour of “Punjab Power Management Unit (PPMU), Govt. of the Punjab, Energy
Department,”. Any bid not accompanied by Earnest Money shall be rejected without any right of appeal.
9.
All bids should include:
(i)
Company’s profile, list of clients with their telephone number and address.
(ii)
Copies of Income Tax and Sales Tax registration certificates.
(iii)
A call deposit being 2% of the bid value as Earnest Money crossed in favour of “Punjab Power
Management Unit (PPMU)” Govt. of the Punjab, Energy Department,”
(iv)
Brochures and other technical material of the quoted equipment.

Purchaser- reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to annul the bidding process and reject all
bids at any time prior to award of Contract (s) as per PPRA rules
11.
In case of holiday on the closing or opening date, next date shall be considered as closing or opening
day, as the case may be.
