Monitoring functions:
Individual crimping process is monitored for the following defects:
• Missing strands
• Strands outside of terminal
• Incorrect crimp height
• Short insulation

Strain sensor mounted on the press frame eliminates
the need for adaptation base plates. Together with the
possibility to use the crimp force itself as trigger to eliminate the need to connect the trigger, this makes the
installation very easy.

Technical data:
The SL CARLINE+ system is excellently suited for all fields of application requiring the monitoring of crimp
forces. The system accepts a wide range of triggering methods such as proximity, encoder and even automatic triggering by the force itself. A wide range of force sensors and adaptation plates (either on the ram or
base-plate) are already available. To remove the need for adaptation plates, strain sensors mounted on the
press frame are also supported.
The system can be used with every crimping machine, and thus protect your investment also for the future.
