The 2014 KITE program will be located
at the Kosair Shrine Temple (812 South
2nd Street) about one block away from
enTECH’s home base in the Kosair Charities
College of Health and Natural Sciences
building on Spalding’s campus.
Please use the Temple entrance closest
to 2nd Street on the southeast side of the
building, which opens to the parking lot.
KITE will be set-up in the third floor
ballroom. An information booth will be
located on the first floor near the elevators,
should you need assistance.

the 2015 K.I.T.E. program.
K.I.T.E. is a technology-based activity
program designed to provide positive
physical, cognitive, and sensory experiences
for children ages 3 – 12 years old.
Programming occurs four weeks per
year from April to July. Sessions are
divided by age groups.
Ages 3-6: 9 a.m.- 12 p.m.
Ages 7-12: 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
K.I.T.E. is open to all children
with special needs.

Each day of the experience, children are
paired with Spalding University students
who are studying in one of the professional
programs of occupational therapy, nursing,
education or applied behavior analysis.
Program participants engage in
various activities:
• Smart board programming
• Motivational mind-body MeMovesTM
• iPad and iPod Touch learning, play,
socialization and communication
• Wii and Kinect gaming
• Digital scrapbooking
• Adaptive music
• Varied sensory motor experiences
• Social story creation
• Adaptive book
• Story telling
K.I.T.E. is designed and coordinated
by experienced assistive technology
professionals, occupational therapists,
a speech language pathologist and
various Spalding University professional
program faculty.
