It brings together researchers and practitioners to exchange new ideas and practical experiences in all areas of cognitive ergonomics. Understanding Design through Cognition is the main theme of ECCE 2015 and links it to the co-located third International Conference on Multimedia, Interaction, Design and Innovation (MIDI 2015). Researchers and practitioners are invited to consider how the broader view of cognition that has developed in recent years can contribute to a better understanding of design processes.
