The European School Bergen is a 4-19 school in the town of Bergen Noord-Holland, and it is one of the 14 Type 1 European Schools in Europe which offer a European education to the final European Baccalaureate certificate. The European Schools have their own curriculum which is the same in all the language sections. We are looking for the following teachers for September 2015. Nursery and Primary School 1. Ref: 2015/02. Class teacher for the Primary School in the English Section. 20 hours per week. 2. Ref: 2015/03. Nursery assistant for the English Section. 14 hours approx. per week 3. Ref: 2015/04. Ref: 2015/02 A qualified and experienced class teacher for the Anglophone section is needed with children who are native speakers, as well as children who have other mother tongues because there is no language section for them. The teacher must be flexible and innovative, have good planning and ICT skills, and be able to work closely with colleagues in the Anglophone section and collaborate with colleagues in the French and Dutch sections. Ref. 2015/03 A friendly, flexible and committed nursery assistant is needed to support the work of the nursery class teacher for approximately 14 hours per week in a class with native speakers and other nationalities where the language used is English. Previous experience in such a position is desirable, but not essential, as is the ability to speak any languages other than English. Teacher for Czech Language 1. Ref.: 2015/04 A teacher of Czech mother tongue is needed in the primary school to teach two small groups for a total of 5 hours per week. The teacher needs to be able to work independently, although collaboration with other teachers of other languages is expected. A basic knowledge of English or Dutch is needed, and ICT skills are also needed for planning and administration. Ref: 2015/05 This post can be offered as a part-time or full-time basis, and please indicate in your application whether you are interested in the full or the part-time position.
