Size & Scale . . .
Traditional Scale (Trad.) includes Peter StoneTM and BreyerTM model horses of the larger size, as well as
other brands and molds of similar dimensions.
Classic Scale (Clas.) is approximately 1:12 (dollhouse) scale, and includes mid-sized plastic models and
accommodates some ceramic brands such as Hagen-Renaker, and the Peter StoneTM Pony.
Color Choices
Please specify the color of items you order where applicable. Many kits containing strap goods such as bridles
and halters may come in several colors. The basic color choice key is:
K=Black B=Brown R=Rust N=Natural
For metal items that come in silver or gold colors the key codes are:
S=Silver Color G=Gold Color
Ordering Example: KH1t-b = Stock Halter Kit/Brown color B12s = B12 buckle in silver color
If no color choice for items available in several colors is indicated on your order form, we will ship the most
commonly requested color for that item.
Units . . .
The “UNIT” column on your order form means how the item is packaged and sold—for example, “each”, “set”,
“pack”, “pair”, “sheet”, etc.
Etched Items
If you are ordering etched items such as buckles, slotted rings or hardware sheet assortments, we strongly
recommend that you cut the pieces out of the sheets, rather than bend them apart. Any small pair of cutters
will do. Start by cutting one or two edges of the ‘frame’ off of the sheet, then remove the parts in strips, and
cut the strips apart. Sometimes bending the parts off the sheets will cause the parts to warp or break.
Special Orders
Some items not shown or expressly offered in our catalog may be special ordered. Most notably, this would
include items available in gold such as lacing, wire and sheet stock. If you have a need for these items, please
inquire.

Out of Stock Items . . .
Please note on your order if you would prefer to backorder items that are temporarily out of stock, receive a
refund, or if you would like us to substitute similar items that may be in stock. The normal default policy is
to backorder items that will be restocked in 6 weeks or less. If we know it will be out of stock longer, you
generally will receive a refund or a credit toward your next order.
If you paid for your order with a credit card, any refunds will be credited back to your card.

Discontinued Items . . .
Our line of items is continually evaluated and we do discontinue items from time to time. Unless otherwise

Use these jump cups to easily place the rails on
any jump. Cups fit 3/8” square wooden dowels.
All you need to do is drill holes through the
wood, the slip the sleeve of the jump cup over
the dowel. Cotter pins hold the cup in place, and

Rio Rondo’s finely detailed miniature bit shanks are ideal for your bridle projects. These bit shanks are
designed to temporarily attach with Mini-Hold wax (sold separately). All bits are sold by the set (two
pieces for left and right sides).
Cast Bits—Cast from American Pewter with a color and sheen similar to silver when polished.
Cast bits are three-dimensional, and decorated.
Etched Bits—These bits are photo-etched from brass/copper and then Nickel or 22k Gold plated
for a mirror finish. Etched bits are flat and undecorated.

Arabian Halter Charms & Parts
Tiny little Shark’s Teeth, Coins, Charms, Endcaps and Lead Hooks to
create your own custom Syrian, Bedouin and Egyptian style arabian
halters. Use embroidery floss for the headstall. Chain used for the nose
and chin straps can be attached to the halter rings using the End Caps.
Since these parts are so tiny, you should plan on crafting your own
jump/attachment rings from wire. Hobby craft wire in a small gauge

Sterling silver conchos are handcrafted and are available plain, wire-mounted (for
decoration) and pin-mounted (for use as saddle fastening conchos).

Leather is a natural product, so it is important to know that
all leathers will feature a certain amount of inconsistency,
due to the uniqueness of the animal the leather came from.
Scars, wrinkles and other small surface imperfections, as well
as variations in thickness and texture, are all natural aspects
of leather. Tooling leather in particular is subject to a certain
amount of surface inconsistencies, although most can be
tooled over, and dyed with no problem
In regard to leather lace, splices may be found here and there
and are standard in the manufacturing procedure. (There are
no cows that we know of that are 25 yards long.)
SKIVER
Paper-thin sheepskin skiver from Italy is ideal for lining items
such as breastcollars as well as crafting accessories such as
boots. Also suitable for tack items for very small scales. The
natural-colored skiver can be dyed to suit Sold in 5x6” and
10x6”pieces. Approx. .5mm thick.

TOOLING LEATHER
2-3 oz. natural-color tooling leather is thin enough for
most miniature projects such as saddles, breastcollars
and other items. Can be tooled, carved, or stamped, and
dyed to your favorite color. Approx 1.1mm thick.
Blemished pieces (LT4) are suitable for cutting out
smaller items and practice projects.

Resins & More
When it comes to collecting and the hobby arts, resin-cast
sculptures are in a class of their own. A step up from plastic,
resins are often issued directly and exclusively from the
sculpting artist (or their business partners) and the molding
quality and details are exquisitely faithful to each original.
Unpainted resin “bodies” (as we offer here) will require some
seam preparation and priming before they are painted.
(However, some people like to collect resins “as is”!)
Some of the best tools for removing seams on resins and
