Please note that the conference lasts 5-7 May for CSOs. Only Eurodad members will
stay until 8th May for our General Assembly. Conference fees only include
accommodation for those nights. If you would like accommodation for earlier or
later nights you have to make your own arrangements.
The accommodation provided by the organisers is the Cabinn City Hotel.
Please note!
If you plan to stay for the night of May 7, you will be asked to move to Danhostel
Copenhagen City (if you have chosen to stay in a single room) or to Hotel Danmark (if
you have chosen to stay in a shared/double room).

Transfer from the Copenhagen Airport to the hotel Cabinn City
There are many possibilities to get from Copenhagen Airport to the centre of
Copenhagen.
You can use one of our suggestions:
Take the train (NOT metro)
The travel will last in total about 30 minutes.
At the Copenhagen Airport take the train to Copenhagen Central Station
(København H). You can take the following trains, which runs every 10 minutes from
Platform 1:
 the ØR train towards Helsingør
 the IC trains towards the following cities; Odense, Aarhus, Aalborg, Esbjerg.
Leave Copenhagen Central Station using the main entrance,
 turn right on Bernstorffsgade,
 turn left on Stoltenbergsgade,
 turn right on Mitchellsgade,
 CABINN City Hotel will be placed on your left hand just after 90 meters.
Tickets: You will have to buy a ticket for three zones at the price of 36.00 dkkr.
Tickets can be purchased in the DSB ticket office placed in Terminal 3, or in the
ticket automates placed at Terminal 3 or at the platform, where you can pay with
several types of credit cards provided if they use a pin code.
Take a bus
Other alternative to get from Copenhagen Airport to the hotel Cabinn City is taking
the Bus no. 5A and get off the bus at the bus stop Polititorvet (it is 25 stops and the
travel lasts about 33 minutes). From the bus stop Polititorvet it is about 170 m, 2
minute walk to the hotel Cabinn City. There are also free terminal busses which run
frequently between terminals in Copenhagen Airport.

Take the train
The travel will last in total about 30 minutes.
At the Copenhagen Airport take the train to Copenhagen Central Station (København

What do I need to pack?
It is strongly advised that you bring your own laptop if you wish to take notes during
the conference. All supporting documents for conference sessions will be available
online. Only a limited number of printed copies might be made available in order to
limit paper consumption. Also remember to bring campaign posters, banners,
documents and reports that you wish to distribute to other participants during the
conference.
Free wireless internet is available in the conference venue and hotels.

Registration
Registration for the conference will start on 5 May at 9am. When you arrive at the
Borups Højskole, please look for the registration desk in the lobby where EurodadIBIS staff will be sitting. Registrations will be open on 5 May from 09:00 to 14.00 (you
will be able to register after that as we will keep the desk open as an information
point). This is when you will receive all necessary information concerning the
conference.
Can I pay cash on site?
Cash payment for conference fees will not be accepted on site unless agreed with
Eurodad staff beforehand, so please do make sure your payment has reached
Eurodad’s bank account before
1st of May! If not please be ready to provide a proof of payment.
Web streaming and Twitter
For your information, plenary sessions and some of the meetings will be recorded
and some sections will be broadcasted via web-stream. Please inform us if you do
not wish to appear on record: [email protected].
The Conference hashtag is #FFDconf.
Which meals are included / not included in the conference price communicated?
Breakfast: Room reservation is breakfast included.
Lunch: Lunch on 6 and 7 May and coffee breaks (one in the morning and one in the
afternoon) are included. Lunch on 8 May is included only for Eurodad members
attending the General Assembly.
Dinner: On 5 May there will be a reception organised at the Borups Højskole and on
6 May a boat trip with dinner (both covered by the Organisers).
Meals not mentioned above are not included in your conference fee.
Catering will be organised according to specific dietary needs indicated during
registration.
Currency
The currency of Denmark is the Danish krone. We recommend you exchange money
upon your arrival (there are exchange offices at the airport). You may also often
use you credit/debit card in shops or restaurants.

Emergency services
In the event of an emergency, call the emergency services at 112 for ambulance,
police and fire services. When you dial the emergency call center you will be asked
for your name, address and the phone number from which you are calling. The call
center will then make sure that appropriate help is sent immediately.
