psychosocial care needed.”

everything is better with friends! The Canuck Place Adventure Race is a team-centred event
where participants are encouraged to fundraise, train, and race together.
!
When participants/teams register, they will be asked if they are associated with a school. Schools
can have an unlimited number of teams associated with it. Keeping in mind that teams must cross
the finish line together, we strongly recommend that students form teams based on fitness level.

FAQs
Fundraising
!Can I set up an Online Fundraising Page?
When you register for the Canuck Place Adventure Race, you will automatically create your own
fundraising page. Your page can be customized with photos, video and information about why
you support Canuck Place. It’s an easy way to share your fundraising goals online, encourage
donations, and raise awareness.
Do I have to fundraise?
The 2015 Canuck Place Adventure Race is a fundraising event. Funds raised at this event support
Canuck Place Children’s Hospice in providing critical clinical care and programs for BC’s children
with life-threatening illnesses and the families who love them. Therefore, we ask that all Teen
Challenge participants do their best to reach the $250 goal. Canuck Place supports all
participants in reaching their fundraising goals. A bi-weekly newsletter to participants includes
tips for fundraising, proper nutrition, training, and using social media to help you achieve your
goals. However, if the goal is not met, participants will not be charged a penalty.
What if I don’t raise the minimum amount?
With our fundraising tips and your enthusiasm we are confident you will have all the tools you

cheque donations. Keep track of these donations with our pledge form (available on the
Adventure Race website or email [email protected]) and make sure you capture all
of your donor’s information so we can issue a tax receipt.
How do I add cash and cheque donations to my online total?

any cash or cheque donations to your grand total so you can keep track of your progress.
How do I submit my cash and cheque donations to Canuck Place?
